Come for a couples get away and enjoy
the hot tub over a glass of wine.
Arrowhead Provincial Park is a short half hour drive where you can skate on the trails, cross country ski or go tubing. There is also downhill skiing at Muskoka Ski Club in Huntsville.
For the snowmobilers just jump on the lake to the OFSC trail system.
For the ice fishers I have a friend that has an ice fishing business that rents huts and he now hosts an ice fishing experience (www.anglingworks.ca)

Also booking for Winter season The cottage is located right on the snowmobile trail!! Perfect for the weekend warriors looking for a place to bring their winter toys and sleds. A big yard for trailers and equipment.
Or come for a couples winter getaway. Go snowshoeing, cross country skiing, or ice fishing on beautiful Lake Bernard. Or stay cozy warm indoors with a good cup of cocoa and good company.
Firewood is available for purchase just down the road.
There are also kayaks/canoes/paddle boards, pontoon boats and fishing boats for rent locally for great rates.
Renting information;
50% deposit due at time of booking. Remaining balance due one week prior to occupancy.

This cottage is a suitable living area for couples and single families.
The property and cottage is Dog Friendly; Please only well mannered/trained pups.
Fire pit (bring your own wood, also please make note of Fire Prevention signs regarding fire bands/conditions on drive through Strong township). One on fire station in town and two on Eagle Lake Rd headed towards cottage.

| I love this cottage! It's my second time here and I can't wait to come back. Comfortable beds, well-equipped kitchen, spacious deck and backyard, amazing location (less than a one-minute walk to a great sandy beach with shallow entry on Lake Bernard - the water was perfect for swimming - and a short drive to Sundridge) and a fantastic well-maintained hot tub perfect for relaxing and seeing the stars on a clear night. Great trails nearby. Definitely head to Checkerboard Beach (15-minute drive up the east side of the lake) to see a magnificent sunset. Steven and Tammie are stellar hosts - very responsive and friendly. I appreciated that they checked in to see if there was anything I needed and promptly answered any questions I had. Highly recommended!

| This cottage was amazing! It was in a really nice and quiet spot. Just enough space for my mom, my dog, and I too move around comfortably. Steve checked in to make sure we had everything we need to make our vacation wonderful! Definitely recommend!

| Rented over Labour day long weekend, with my cousin, our partners, and our two dogs. Large yard and deck was great for activities and relaxing.
Spent time at the beach, in Burks Falls and screaming heads.
Everything we needed was available in the cottage. Paddle boards were great to have use of. Steve checked in and made sure everything was going well.
We had a wonderful time and have all agreed we would be back again!

| It's a real nice place to stay. Lots of yard space, hot tub is an added bonus and it's 30 seconds from the Lake. Good variety of stuff to rent to enjoy the water.

| My family and I had a great time at this cottage. It was clean and well equipped. Steve and his wife were quick to respond. The sandy shallow beach is beautiful and only a 2min walk from the cottage. We also enjoyed lounging in the hot tub. We would definitely go back again.
