| This Dickie Lake cottage is private, clean, tastefully decorated and well-maintained. Communication with Scott was excellent. We especially enjoyed spending time on the sunny dock and wraparound deck, using the fire pit at night, and playing games in the sunroom when we got a bit of rain. Worth noting the cottage is in a small bay, so the water is fairly shallow with some lilly pads, but the swimming was still excellent, including a gradual entry for launching the kayaks. We also had to buy some soap and toilet paper as there was not enough supplied. We had a fantastic stay with our puppy and would definitely recommend this cottage!

| As an avid cottage renter, I'm happy to share that this cozy cottage on Dickie Lake was very well represented in photographs, reviews and its online description. It was clean and featured all the amenities for a comfortable stay. We loved the Napoleon fireplace and the Muskoka chairs on the dock. Beautiful lake views surrounded by trees on a good size lot. It was quiet and quaint. We stayed during Thanksgiving weekend, so the Fall colours were at their very best. Stunning in fact! It's a short drive to town to pick up some basics (small grocer/LCBO) or grab a bite. On the host Scott's recommendation, we had dinner at The Cast Iron, twice during our stay. We really enjoyed it. Scott was a great host. Very responsive prior to our stay and takes excellent care of his property. We look forward to staying in this little peace of heaven again in 2020.

| My wife, daughter and I rented this cottage for a quick weekend getaway early December and were not disappointed. The cottage was toasty warm with the fireplace and the little space heater kept the sunroom warm for our dog. It's a beautiful cottage and a dead simple drive from the GTA - we came from Burlington, and we able to make it up in around 2 hours. Scott gave great directions to get there, and was super helpful with anything we needed. We are typically summer cottagers, but this place in the winter looks straight out of a postcard. You're close enough to town that you can pop in for anything you've forgotten - I assume the general store is a little better stocked during peak summer months, but it still had the essentials. Plus there is a local brewery and a great LCBO within 5 mins. We were only staying for a couple nights, but good to know that there is a Walmart/Grocery store within about 15 minutes for the summer rentals when you don't want to lug your entire fridge up there. The place itself is exactly what you'd want in a cottage - small/cozy, but functional. Since it was winter, the trees had lost their leaves but you still felt a surprising amount of privacy, so it's likely VERY private in the summer. Thanks again Scott! We hope to be back again.

| This rental was excellent from the first contact to our departure. Prior to our arrival we were provided all necessary paper work. Upon our arrival we easily found the cottage and we were not dissapointed. There was a great looking cottage on the outside. Once inside, the cottage was very clean and large 2 bedroom. The interior was found to have everything we needed. Outside there was large new deck. Plenty of sitting room at fire pit, down near the water and on the large dock. There was plenty of unusable watercraft. We made a fun time on the dock sunbathing and swimming in the shallow water around the dock. We would recommend this and return to use in the future.
