NOTE: A cancellation will be possible for any measures taken by the government that would prevent the tenant from coming to the cottage (Quarantine, etc.). Treat yourself to a relaxing stay at Early Riser cottage! There are a still a few weeks remaining for summer/ fall 2025. Early Riser cottage is less than 100 feet away from rolling sand dunes and 7 kilometers of beautiful beaches. The gentle tides and sandbars make this long stretch of beach safe and family friendly. On a clear day you can see Prince Edward Island across Northumberland Strait. This is Atlantic Canada's warmest salt water with water temperatures in July and August between 24 to 28 Celcius.
The cottage is 1400 square feet in size. It is situated on a fenced in lot at the end of a private lane, and is partially shaded by a large maple tree. This light filled cottage is ideal for two couples or a small family. The large livingroom has two sliding doors and large windows that bring in a lot of natural light, as well as allow views of the sand dunes and water. There is a spacious master bedroom on the second floor with a view of the beach. This bedroom has its own bathroom, shower, and a walk in closet. The second bedroom is situated on the main floor along with another bathroom, and a laundry room with a washer and dryer. This cottage also has a fully equipped eat in kitchen, vaulted ceilings in the living area with two sofas and two wing back chairs, a den with a television, and a 24 by 10 feet screened in porch. There is a four burner Weber bbq for your convenience situated just outside the porch. You can also choose to sit out on the large front patio under the maple tree, and view the water and feel the cooling breezes.
It is a short 5 minute drive into the town of Cap Pele where you'll find everything you need, from groceries, a bakery and a liquor store, to many restaurants where you can try the local specialties such as lobster rolls and fried clams. Fresh lobster is always available from one of the local seafood shops and, in August during the lobster season for south eastern NB, you can purchase lobster directly from fisherman on the wharf as they come in with their catch of the day.
The town of Shediac is only a 15 minute drive away. Known as the "lobster capital of the world", there are many more restaurants and amenities there, as well as a local farmer's market on Sunday mornings.
You are only a 35 minute drive away from Confederation Bridge (gateway to PEI), 20 minutes away from the New Brunswick/Nova Scotia border and just 35 minutes to the city of Moncton. Known as the Hub of the Maritimes due to its central location, Moncton has amazing shopping opportunities which include: Champlain Place, Atlantic Canada's largest mall and Bass Pro Shop (outdoor specialists with a 100,000 square foot store). Moncton also boasts Atlantic Canada's largest outdoor water theme park, Magic Mountain. Golfers will be happy to know they are less than a ten-minute drive to Pine Needles, a 36 hole golf course and within 30 minutes' drive of seven other golf courses including two championship courses, Royal Oaks and Fox Creek.

| We stayed at Terry's cottage for 3 weeks recently and had a wonderful time. The property is aptly described in the write up - it is clean, comfortable , and less than a minute from the warm water beach. The screened in porch is spacious with 2 long sofas - very relaxing for lounging. The beds are very comfortable. We particularly enjoyed the lounger chairs under the shade of the big maple out front. Fred's Bakery just a few minutes away offers tasty homemade pie, biscuits, and Acadian delicacies. A fresh local vegetable stand is located 2 minutes away. We biked there daily. We will return again next year. Thank you Terry for sharing your lovely beach property with us.
