Cozy cottage on Long Lake in Mcdougall 10 min from Parry Saund, 2 hours from Toronto.
Build on a cliff with wonderful views. Wrap around deck + 2 more screen decks. Three bedroom, two bathroom, open concept living room-dinning room-kitchen, lower level walk out to the lake with recreational area and propane fire place. Wood burning fireplace on main floor. 28 steps down with landings brings you to a lake with a fire pit and a dock. Canoe for 3 people on the spot, two kayaks, water mat and stand up paddle board.
10 minutes drive to Parry Sound where you can find all amenities you need like grocery stores, LCBO, Walmart and much more. Adventures close by: Bear Claw ATV Adventure Tours, Georgian Nordic Ski Club, Island Queen Cruise, horse back riding, Dear Run golf course, ATV and snowmobile trail just off Pinewood.

Renting information:
50% deposit due at time of booking. Remaining balance due 1 month prior to occupancy.

Plus refundable $500 damage deposit, to be returned 1 week after the cottage is inspected.

You will have to supply your own pillows and towels.

You will also be responsible for ensuring the household and premises is fully cleaned before "checking out"

The cottage is very clean and tasteful decorated. Many detail touch lights up the cottage life. The owner responds quickly and information provided are detailed and very helpful. Highly recommend this place.

This cottage is amazing! It was super clean and had everything we needed. We loved the screened in porches. Every day, I did yoga on the top porch, and it felt like I was in a tree house. The dock and lake are fantastic. We enjoyed kayaking and swimming. Agnes is great and very thoughtful. We were sad to go but plan to go back for another relaxing week next summer.

I stayed at this cottage for a weekend with three friends. We had an absolute wonderful time. The cottage is beautiful, big, cozy and well appointed. There is literally all you need to have a wonderful getaway. We spent the days and evenings on the dock, couches by the fireplace, and in the screened in veranda. It was awesome! And the front room on the third floor overlooking the lake and forest is beautiful. I would go back with my kids, or a getaway with couples or friends anytime. I highly recommend!! Thank you Agnes for sharing your happy place with us : )

Our family spent a week here after Christmas. Owner was helpful and the contract & terms were clear. Cottage very clean & modern. Kitchen was completely functional but not well-stocked - a few spices and that was about it (so come prepared!). A few hiccups with the furnace but the owner dealt with it effectively and fairly. Plenty of wood and the fire was great. Relatively private. Well-insulated and yes it is cozy. Driveway plowed regularly. We spent our time in the cottage cooking & playing games. We hardly even looked at the lake (but the view is great). Most importantly: this location is FANTASTIC for cross-country skiing. Access to multiple ski locations is really first-rate. Lovely place to spend a snowy winter week.

One of the best cottage experience we've ever had! Absolutely 10/10!
The cozy cottage is fully equipped, extremely cleaned (also well disinfect/ sanitized especially during COVID19 time), warm decorated. The screened porch/ balcony is best place to relax, chat with friends & family and enjoy the view of beautiful stunning lake & fall maple. The host Agnes is very kind, friendly and very responsive.
We would definitely come back next year or winter & recommend Cozy Spot to friends!
