Norman's Landing is a renovated 4-season cottage on a quiet bay of Maple Lake in the Haliburton Highlands. It is so close to the water's edge you can hear the gentle lapping of the water. Enjoy outdoor dining on the deck, the BBQ with propane included and a waterside firepit. The fishing is great right off the dock. A guest caught a three foot long muskie! In summer the over-sized dock is the place to sun yourself, watch the loons and dive into the clear water. The cottage has spectacular sunrises and the beautiful large dock gets sun all day. At the back, a grassy area and a badminton net are just waiting for a game. The cottage is tastefully and comfortably furnished. The open concept living room takes advantage of the lake view and has knotty pine walls and ceiling. The modern kitchen is well equipped, but note that there is no dishwasher. The bathroom is new and includes a shower but no bath. A spacious master bedroom has a high quality queen size bed, and a walk out to the deck overlooking the lake. The other two bedrooms are small and are suitable for children or one adult. Both have a forest view. One has a double bed. The other has a single bed. The waterfront bunkie has a queen bed and a sitting area. A canoe, a row boat and a paddle boat are provided for the use of guests. We also have a lily pad swim mat. The kids will love it! | This was a second time staying at Norman's Landing, and it was very relaxing. We stayed over the Thanksgiving weekend. The cottage has a paddleboat and a canoe that renters can use, and it was awesome to enjoy the fall colours on the lake. There is some wildlife to see such as rabbits, ducks, and loons, which our little one loved. The host also told us about an art studio tour that was happening while we were there, so we got to explore the area and appreciate art made by local artists. Carolyn and John are wonderful hosts, and their cottage is very nice.

| There were four of us who stayed at this cottage for a weekend in Sept. WE entered the cottage with a written warm welcome and a few goodies. The place was imaculately clean with all the emeities that made it comfortable and relaxing. With four bedrooms and a bunkie it gave each of us privacy and a garantee of a good nights sleep. The bedding was freshly laundered and all the facilties were in great working order. Then we stepped out onto the deck and were amazed at the beauty of the panoramic view of the landscape. We ate all our meals outdoors at the patio table enjoying the scenery around us. With boats provided for fishing and canoeing or just paddle boating there was no excuse for not enjoying the water and the surrounding wild life. This place gave us many great memories and a most wonderful cottage experience. We would not hesitate to recommend it as a place to spend a few days or weeks. Thanks Carolyn!

| Enjoyed a wonderful stay at Norman's Landing. The cottage is beautiful, clean, with great light exposure and view of the lake. Great swimming off the dock, lots of sitting options all around the cottage and really enjoyed playing badminton in the front yard. The host was very helpful and responsive. Look forward to returning.

| Norman's Landing is the perfect example of my dream cottage. Right by the water, with a really great dock to just sit and relax. The best part is the dock is literally steps away from the cottage/ Need a drink? Want more snacks? They're not far away. You also have a GREAT view of the lake right from the cottage.
The cottage itself is incredibly well equipped, with everything you need to cook great meals + a BBQ. The shower pressure and heat were amazing. The beds were comfy.
I'd definitely love to come back
