Norman's Landing is a renovated 3-season cottage on a quiet bay of Maple Lake in the Haliburton Highlands. It is so close to the water's edge you can hear the gentle lapping of the water. The fishing is great right off the dock. A guest caught a three foot long muskie! An over sized dock is the place to sun yourself, watch the loons, and moor your boat (large or small). A nearby public boat launch makes bringing your boat to Norman's Landing a breeze. The cottage has spectacular sunrises and the beautiful large dock gets sun all day. At the back, a grassy area and a badminton net are just waiting for a game. The cottage is tastefully furnished. The open concept living room takes advantage of the lake view and has knotty pine walls and ceiling. For the gourmet cook - the modern kitchen is well equipped, but note that there is no dishwasher. The bathroom is new and includes a shower but no bath. A spacious master bedroom has a high quality queen size bed, and a walk out to the deck overlooking the lake. The other two bedrooms are very small and are suitable for children or one adult. Both have a forest view. One has a double bed. The other has a single bed. The beautiful new waterfront bunkie provides sleeping accommodation for 2 adults in a queen bed. A canoe, a row boat and a paddle boat are provided for the use of guests. Firewood for the fire pit is included. AMENITIES AND EQUIPMENT | Bedrooms | 3 bedrooms : - 1 single bed - 2 double beds - 1 Queen bed - Crib | | Kitchen | | | Communications | | | General | | |

| Our family had a great time at Norman's landing. The dock is amazing and receives a good amount of sun throughout the day which makes it ideal for swimming. The kids loved jumping off the dock. Various watercraft are provided, a canoe, row boat and pedal boat. We had a memorable canoe ride down the river where we saw several turtles bathing in the sun. The cottage is ideally situated very close to the lake. You get great views whether you're in the cottage, on the deck or on the dock. The lake is beautiful and being on a bay provides calm water. The sunrise and morning mist was spectacular. It was the perfect cottage getaway for our family and we're planning to re-book for next year!

| Norman's Landing is a perfect family cottage. It is very clean, comfortable, private, well appointed and tastefully furnished, with spacious lawns, trees, and a large deck with comfortable seating, a BBQ, and wonderful lake views. There is a large dock, with excellent swimming, deck-chairs, a canoe, row-boat, paddle boat and life-jackets. We have returned a number of times, and have very special family memories. Carolyn is a pleasure to deal with, and we will most definitely be back.

| What a great getaway! Updated cottage with beautiful waterfront views which you can take in on the massive dock! We loved watching the sunrise and having coffee on the Adirondack chairs. Carolyn thought of everything! Loved the decor, so detailed :) Fun non motorized water activities; paddle boat, canoes, row boat (all provided). Beautiful spot to swim, life jackets and noodles also included to float around on, on gorgeous Maple Lake! Great fishing and sunrises... Badminton net was a lot of fun as well! The kitchen has everything you would need for equipment to cook with and ample sized fridge and BBQ for all food and cooking. Good size deck and dining set for outdoor dining. Always able to find shade if one should desire on hot summer days. Books, DVD's, TV, WIFI to keep you busy on a rainy day. Carolyn was a great hostess! She provided us with information for local activities and tourist attractions as well as dinner out options should we choose to do so. Haliburton was approximately 20 minutes away and a had a cute Main Street with lots of local shops to browse and buy a souvenir, as well as a grocery store, pharmacy, and dining options. Carolyn checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed during our stay and was very accommodating! Would definitely stay again in a heartbeat!
