Clean and modern updates combined with original cottage charm. Equipped with everything you need and stunning views! Rental Periods: In July and August, Sunday - Sunday (7 night minimum) rentals are required. Shorter stays (2 night minimum) are welcome in May, June, September and October. Pricing details are in the Rates section. This pet friendly cottage has 3 bedrooms. The master bedroom has a queen size bed and a 2 piece, private washroom. The second bedroom has a single-over-double bunk bed and an amazing view through a sliding patio door that leads to the deck and overlooks the water. The third bedroom is a single-over-single bunk bed. The main washroom is a 3 piece with a spacious stand-up shower. The 'great room' is an open concept, vaulted ceiling area that contains the L shaped kitchen, dining area that can seat 9 and living area with a 39" Smart TV, electric fireplace and sofa. This property has your own waterfront on River Philip with east and west views so you have an amazing sunrise and sunset view each day. The cottage experiences all the changes of the tides and the sea life that goes with it including regular sightings of seals and eagles. Groups with more than 7 guests will be charged additional guest fee and should note that the sofa bed is in the great room. For everyone's comfort we do not allow the use of the sofa bed for more than a 2 night stay. Pet fees apply and the pet is counted as a guest in the total guest headcount.
The cottage is on a quiet dead-end lane with only 9 other homes/cottages and there is a very large yard for the kids to play. The lane is slow and safe for the kids to explore on one of the bikes we provide. Beautiful Heather Beach Provincial Park is minutes away, many other beaches, golf courses and other beautiful locations in NS, NB and PEI are all easily reached with a day-trip.
Just down the road is a boat launch and beach area where seals and eagles hang out. The cottage is walking/biking distance to a lobster pound, restaurants and the best ice cream shop for miles! Travel 8 minutes to Pugwash for groceries, the farmer's market, bakeries, etc.
Included: WiFi. 39" Smart TV. BBQ. Bicycles of various sizes! Yard games (volley-ball, tether-ball, croquet, etc.) Household linens. All kitchen utensils. A large yard for sports. Fire pit with comfortable Adirondack chairs. Direct access to the water.
Enjoy a large screen room which has a view of the water and overlooks the yard. It's a great place to play cards, have a nap or read a book away from the mosquitoes. This is a shared space with the 'sister' cottage next door.
Not included: Disposable items such as toiletries, toilet paper or paper towel.
Hand soap,dish soap and coffee filters are provided. Beach towels may be requested for an additional laundry fee.
This property is built with families in mind, groups with more than 5 adults are encouraged to seek alternative accommodations.

| My family had a wonderful week in the Grey cottage, while friends of ours were in the Blue cottage. It's a terrific set-up for two families or large groups to vacation together.
The view was lovely and the area was very peaceful. The cottages are very nice and well appointed and Rebekah was a wonderful host with great communication.
I would that you may wish to bring water shoes if you plan to go swimming or tubing as the river bottom is quite muddy, although that didn't deter my kids.
Also, depending on the time of year, bug spray is a must.
We would happily return in the future.

| Wow! A beautiful spot, seamless check in and everything is as it was advertised! The water is lovely, bring a flotation device! Lots of goodies to use in the shed, it's quiet! The cottage is clean and well appointed with everything you need! The hummingbirds are amazing! The view, the gentle waves on the shoreline, it's comfortable inside and out! Book soon! | This was the perfect family getaway before school started. We had such relaxing weekend by the water. This cottage was fully stocked with anything that was needed. It was absolutely wonderful and the hosts were quick to respond to any email questions. We hope to book again for next year.
