This cottage is a great vacation getaway choice for families or small groups with something for everyone to do. Situated on the southern shore of Georgian Bay within one of Canada's finest four season resort areas it is a marvelous location for swimming, boating, and fishing; or enjoy hiking, golfing, cycling, skiing, snowshoeing, antiquing, visiting restaurants, wineries, and artisan studios/ galleries; or just simply relaxing. The choices are endless.
The cottage is located on a quiet dead-end road and features 3 bedrooms, large outdoor deck area at the front, rear and side, wide double lot with cedar lined property for privacy, plenty of grassed yard space for the kids, and superb water views.
There is a table and six chairs in the dining room. The living room features a stone, gas fireplace for cool evenings or apres-ski (there are also electric baseboard heaters), two walls of large bright windows, a comfy u-shaped couch with chaise for relaxing with your favourite book, free Wifi, a radio, and a flat screen TV and Blu-Ray DVD for enjoying a movie night with the family. There is a door in the living room that leads to the front deck.
There are 3 bedrooms and a 3 piece sink, toilet, tub/shower bathroom. Each of the bedrooms has windows for light and ventilation. There is a queen bed in the first bedroom, a double bed in the second bedroom, and a bunk bed in the third bedroom.
The front deck is a great spot for the early birds in your group to enjoy a morning coffee and the beautiful sun rises over the bay. Later in the day you can watch the white sails of the boats on the aqua blue water of Georgian Bay.
There is a gas BBQ for grilling your favourite vacation meals. Be sure to bring your outdoor yard games, the large grassed lawn area is a great place for kids to play. Being on the water is a key feature of this property. Gradual entry into the water allows for good swimming. This would also make a great spot to launch your canoe or kayak if you have your own. If not, no worries, there is a canoe with paddles available for your use. There are also bicycles available for 2 adults and 1 child.
The cottage is close to many attractions and its less than a 15 minute drive to downtown Meaford for groceries and shopping, restaurants, museum and library. Meaford offers a variety of events and activities to please the whole family - from arts and crafts, festivals, and a beautiful harbourfront with marina.
Attend a performance at Meaford Hall Arts & Cultural Centre, take a fishing charter. You can walk, jog, cycle, cross country ski and snowshoe the Georgian Trail (a 35 km rail trail that connects Meaford, Thornbury & Collingwood). Don't forget to pick up some apples, jam and pies at Gramma Lambe's. For something unique try Ted's Range Road diner for a meal and Wednesday Jamm Night. Golf at any of the area golf courses, cycle the challenging mountain bike trails at Stage Trails (Pretty River Valley Provincial Park), or enjoy some of the best road cycling in Ontario.
The cottage is dog friendly, for up to two dogs at an additional rate of $50/dog.

| We've been enjoying this incredible cottage every summer since 2020. I can't say enough about the cottage, the property, and the owners. The sunrises are amazing, the bonfires are fantastic, and the swimming is wonderful! The cottage is clean, cozy, and equipped with everything needed for cooking, relaxing, and playing games. The lake this year was quite warm, and we enjoyed swimming, floating, and paddle boarding daily. Our stay always feels too short, but we're forever grateful to have discovered this special place.

| This cottage is an excellent place to rest, relax and rejunvenate surrounded by its mature trees and the sparkling waters of Georgian Bay! It is a cozy, comfortable place- located on a quiet road. Our family thoroughly enjoyed the sunrises shining in through the front windows and spectacular views of the water. A special place, indeed!
