Starr Lane Beach House is a rustic family friendly cottage on the Northumberland Straight with beautiful ocean views from your deck steps away from a gorgeous sandy beach. When the tide is in- you can hunt for beach glass, lay on the beach or swim in the warm water. When the tide is out- you can walk for miles, build sandcastles or even play baseball or volleyball on the sandbars. The tidal pools provide endless opportunities to explore our nature and search for starfish, mussels and crabs.
Starr Lane is a rustic and cozy three bedroom, 1 bath open concept cabin. We offer TV, internet and plenty of board games. The outdoor space will let you relax on your deck while the kids run around the large yard, and you can enjoy making memories around your own fire pit.
This gem is conveniently situated near local restaurants,a country store and a lobster pound. It is 10 minutes away from the beautiful village of Pugwash where there is a shopping and a vibrant weekend farmers market.it is a great location as a base to explore all that NS has to offer!
On a clear day- you can even see PEI from your deck and if you choose to visit- the bridge is only forty five minutes away. For the golfer, you will find four great courses within a half hours drive-Northumberland Links and Fox Harbour are two of these. There are also many hiking trails in the area- waterfalls and groomed trails- as well as back country treks.
