| Spent a week at this very quiet spot on the Madawaska and thoroughly enjoyed it.
Cottage and grounds were immaculate and the hot tub was a welcome treat.
No neighbours to speak of and very little boat traffic… and NO personal watercraft!
If you're just a couple, or a few friends, or a family with little kids, you'll love it.
And check out the fry truck that's only a short drive away!

| This cottage was perfect for our family and held 8 people comfortably. It felt like home really quickly as there were thoughtful touches everywhere and everything you could possibly need at the cottage. It was close to nearby stores (for firewood, LCBO, etc.) and the river was far better than we expected. We love to swim, SUP, and play in the water. The river was deep right off the dock and very warm (with no weeds at all). The volleyball court, beach lunch spot, firepit area, hot tub, deck, and dock made the outdoors all the more fun. We would just kind of rotate between spots throughout the day.
We have stayed in many cottages over the years however this one stands out to us as the best (as you never know what to expect). Check-in and check-out was easy and the host really went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and happy.
We will book again next year for sure!

| We had a lovely stay at Lisa's beautiful cottage. It is well updated and extremely clean which was very assuring during this COVID time. The cottage is very spacious and our group of 5 adults found it very comfortable to work remotely (excellent internet) and relax. We enjoyed the decks, hot tub (watching the stars), firepit and activities on the river. The location is ideal for excursions to Algonquin Park and Bon Echo. We had a memorable week and look forward returning!

| Our family had a great week at the cottage! The teens enjoyed the hot tub, fire pit, internet and jumping/swimming in the river. Mom & dad loved the well equipped kitchen/dishwasher, relaxing on the multiple decks and the peaceful surroundings (with deer visits). The cottage was very clean and included all the amenities for a 'not-so-roughing-it' vacation. We had a hot week and did miss the air conditioning of home (for sleeping at night). Lisa provided lots of extra special touches you don't see with a regular rental - thanks for making it a great week!
