NO HALF WEEKS. Are you looking for a sunny summer get-away? Located along the banks of the beautiful Madawaska River, this 3-bedroom family owned bungalow is spacious and cozy. The cottage has been recently renovated and shares a clean, bright, modern feel with its unique and beachy cottage comfort. Whether you are relaxing on the deck in the sun, soaking in the hot tub, playing in the beach volleyball court, tanning on the dock, or launching your boat from the private boat launch, there is truly something for everyone! We are located in Palmer Rapids, only minutes from Paddlers Co-op, 20 minutes south of Barry's Bay. Price includes clean bottom sheets, pillows and pillow cases on all beds, 8 beach towels, kitchen linens. The price DOES NOT include full bedding as pictured (Duvets and Covers, bathroom towels ect). Full linens available for additional fee. (Recommended) This river side property has 150ft of shoreline, a private boat launch and very large 12 x 16 ft dock. There is an awesome fire-pit, beach volleyball court and roomy dock for guests to enjoy. This 10 km section of the river is generally very quiet and peaceful as is it blocked at both end by rapids and rocks making it inaccessible to through- traffic. If you own or rent a boat, there are miles of boating available along the Madawaska River which connects into many bodies of water, including Kamaniskeg Lake and Blackfish Bay. If you are interested in exploring these areas boat launch access to this area of the river is a short drive away. There is great fishing on the river and you can easily launch your boat from this properties private boat launch.
Be advised the current of the river is generally not strong in the section and makes for beautiful deep water for swimming. Our children swim here all summer long but always wear life jackets as the river is very deep has does have a drop off that makes wading on the shoreline with out a life jacket risky for small children.
The 3-bedroom, 2 bathroom bungalow has recently been renovated and is comfortable space all year-round. The kitchen is fully equipped and there is a BBQ located outdoors for your use. The large yard provides plenty of space for campfires, outdoor games, beach volleyball and more.

| We had a lovely stay at Lisa's beautiful cottage. It is well updated and extremely clean which was very assuring during this COVID time. The cottage is very spacious and our group of 5 adults found it very comfortable to work remotely (excellent internet) and relax. We enjoyed the decks, hot tub (watching the stars), firepit and activities on the river. The location is ideal for excursions to Algonquin Park and Bon Echo. We had a memorable week and look forward returning!

| Our family had a great week at the cottage! The teens enjoyed the hot tub, fire pit, internet and jumping/swimming in the river. Mom & dad loved the well equipped kitchen/dishwasher, relaxing on the multiple decks and the peaceful surroundings (with deer visits). The cottage was very clean and included all the amenities for a 'not-so-roughing-it' vacation. We had a hot week and did miss the air conditioning of home (for sleeping at night). Lisa provided lots of extra special touches you don't see with a regular rental - thanks for making it a great week!

| Been twice now first stay was last summer and now over March break.
Once being here it's hard to leave and you want to book again.
It has everything, a volleyball court, a great dock for tanning all day in the sun and a hot tub. The inside is stunning! 3 great size bedrooms, 2 with King beds that were super comfy. 2 very clean modern bathrooms. The open concept of the living space is fabulous, not to mention the harvest table that you can sit at with your coffee and enjoy the beauty of the outdoors. The river is great for all water fun and found it to be very peaceful. The local store is not far and has an LCBO.
During our winter stay we found some little lakes for ice fishing and the groomed snowmobile trails. The hot tub was great for after these events.
Highly recommend checking out this 4 season place. The owners are super friendly and easy to deal with.

| This place is not only a very nice place to stay it is an experience that will make you want to come back. 3 nice bedrooms, 2 very clean washrooms, very large yard with volley ball court with great river side dock. If you take a drive up to the Palmer Rapids dam only a couple KM away you will experience some of the best white water Kayaking and Canoeing on the mighty Madawaska River or just grab some Tubes and float down the river. We will be back.
