Our family owned property features a 1800 square feet house located on the Trent-Severn Waterway. This four bedroom two bath home with a seperate guest house sleeps up to 14 and has a great living area with vaulted ceilings overlooking the Trent River. A private dock makes for great evening views of the sunset and a wonderful place for the fireworks show on the holidays. The main house has 4 Bedrooms, each bedroom has one queen size bed. The guest house has two queen beds and a double Futton. The main living room is large and has 2 large sofas that can also be used for sleeping. This property offers 130 feet of lake frontage for your family and friends to enjoy. The water is gradual from the shore and the lake is well known for its excellent fishing, boating and swimming. The property is 2 acres of level lot and very private. (Plenty of grass for playing sports like; Frisbee, Soccer, Volleyball, Football, Badminton, etc) Included in the rental is a four-person paddleboat, four-person canoe and 3 single kayaks. Along with an assortment of adult and children size life jackets. Think of all the memories you can enjoy with your family and friends during your stay at Friendly Acres Cottage. There is a large fire pit to keep warm on those cooler evenings. The public boat dock/ launch is just minutes away and easily accessible.
There is parking for 10 cars on a private paved driveway. Parking is not permitted on the grass.
This is the perfect place for families to enjoy summer vacation and experience true lake-side living. It is very clean and updated.

| Great cottage which easily fit 3 families with children (6 adults, 5 kids). The cottage was exactly as advertised and the owners were extremely professional in handling the contract, deposits, answering questions, etc. It was close to town to get supplies and visit attractions. We had a few minor set backs which were outside of the owner's control and they were very quick to respond and rectify the situation.

| This was more of an average to a very good cottage to me, there might've been mixed reviews in our group but out of the cottages I've been to this is a good option, fair price, good space, love that they have a nice amount of boating choices for most of us if not all of us (11 people) to be on the water, lifejackets, they have a couple board games and the cookware and such you'd need, the few complaints that I have are that there wasn't enough toilet paper, just the ones that were already on the rolls in the washrooms, which I feel is a basic thing that should be provided especially if you're hosting big groups, so we had to go out and buy some, there was no dish or hand soap and blankets but luckily I had asked beforehand if they had the first two, there is a lot of poop on the yard towards the dock which is concerning so I hope they try to take care of that before others' stay because it was small but everywhere, hard to tell if it was from birds or dogs, I'm surprised I didn't get more mosquito bites even though we saw bugs around, the water's a good height for non experienced swimmers so try not to jump in cause you could get hurt(as 1 person in or group did, he's fine lol) as it'd be too shallow, there's a firepit with plenty of chairs, and the view of the water's always going to be amazing, Reana was understanding and patient in communicating to me when I needed clarifications, this cottage has got everything I look for, I'd definitely consider coming back here again!

The poop is from the geese that frequent the cottage and we really do not have control over their messes, although we try our very best to maintain the cleanliness of the grass area leading towards the dock. Being in the country the wildlife certainly take advantage!! Nevertheless, we do hope you created some memorable moments staying at our cottage. | |

| We had an amazing time at the cottage. The cottage + cabin was big enough for our group of 11 plus 2 little kids. It was clean and the layout was great. The huge windows provided beautiful lake views from the cottage itself. The grounds and the surroundings were great for our kids to run about and play games. The lake had shallow entry which was perfect for little kids to swim and splash. We had a great time doing the water activities and using the canoe and pedal boat which was kindly provided with the cottage. The deck was so nice to enjoy the beautiful view and the sunsets were breathtaking!

| We had a wonderful time at Friendly Acres cottage. The bunky was great for our bigger kids, and there was great space in the main cottage?.the pictures don't do the place justice for how spacious it is. The swimming area was nice. Lots of grassy area for outdoor games. Being close to any amenities was great.
The only downfall to this place, in our opinion, is that the beds are too firm. Personally, I like a firm bed, but these were too firm for me, as well as the others I rented with. Oh, and the water in the bunky is quite stinky, but we just avoided using it, so it wasn't a big deal.
All in all, it was a wonderful week at Friendly Acres. We saw lots of beautiful wildlife, and enjoyed the peacefulness and scenery of the area!

| We stayed for a week at this beautiful cottage. The cottage was very clean as well as the guest house with everything you need. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. Kids enjoyed fishing, kayaking, swimming and playing various sports as there was plenty of outdoor space. We throughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely visit again.
