A private retreat that is great for families and small groups of friends! We are a short walk (8min) to Lake Huron with its famed sunsets. The cabin is 5 minutes south of Goderich and 10 minutes north of Bayfield. Benmiller and Blyth are also very close! Welcome to peace and tranquility in this stunning three bedroom, historic log cabin. Enjoy the tranquility of a very private property with loads of amenities including a fire pit, natural gas bbq, washer/ dryer, large deck with covered gazebo and more. Note: The loft area is accessed by a spiral staircase.
You never need to leave the property, whether you are having a glass of wine on the deck, sunbathing, or kicking back by the fire. Black's Point Beach is 5 minutes away, watch Lake Huron's famed sunsets, Bayfield is a 10 minute drive with it's great pubs and restaurants, bakeries, and quaint shops. Day trip to picturesque Goderich, Benmiller or Blyth for theatre, or a trip to Cowbell Brewery. Lots to see and do!
Lots of other activities are just minutes away, hiking, cycling, fishing, wineries, sandy beaches for long walks, beautiful sunsets and good restaurants. In the winter, enjoy snowshoeing, cross country skiing or other winter sports!

| We had an amazing stay at Blacks Point Cottage. It was beautiful, clean, spacious, and Leslie and Steve could not have been better hosts. The property is huge, and there was lots of room for the kids (aged 7-9) to run around and play. We can't wait to come back!

| What a wonderful place! We had the privilege of staying here for a month in May and it was fantastic.
I am a professional pilot and have stayed in hundreds of hotels and resorts and AirBnB's etc, and Black's Point Cottage is easily in the top 5 of all the places I have stayed in. I was blown away by the attention to detail given to every aspect.
The cottage itself is beautiful, warm and filled with light. Vintage art and furnishings abound. The beds are very comfy and we slept great. The surroundings are beautiful, and the cottage is filled with everything and every amenity a family could possibly want during a vacation. Bathroom was spotless and the hot water tank appeared to have infinite capacity. We went to the beach daily (5 min walk) and explored the nearby trails as well as hanging out in the back yard under the gazebo. At night we would light the wood fireplace n the sunroom and feel very pleased with ourselves as we cooked supper in the well-stocked kitchen. Tonnes of pots and pans and cookware. The gas fireplace in the living room was also great to relax beside.
The cottage was totally clean and smelled great when we arrived and the owners were particularly attentive and pleasant during our stay. You can tell they love the cottage as much as you will, and I am grateful that they share it with us.
11/10, we totally recommend this cottage to anyone who wants to relax and unwind. We will be back as soon as we possibly can, it really is that good.

| Our stay at Black's Point Cottage was nothing but perfection from start to finish. Communicating with Leslie is a breeze, and she will respond almost instantly to any of your questions or concerns.
Check-in is a breeze.
The cottage has everything you need and then some. This cottage is an amazing space with plenty of room, and natural light beaming in you and can't beat that log cabin feel either.
The property itself is gorgeous, and the pictures don't do it justice. The yard is very well kept, very big, and perfect for having your kids run around while you are lounging or if you wanted to play yard games / catch ect.
There is so much to do outside the cottage as well if you feel like taking a day trip. There are many beaches, playgrounds, and places to go and see.
We are already planning our next visit!
Don't hesitate and just book!

Check-in was easy as pie, the place was gorgeous and so close to the lake!
The cottage itself was equipped with everything we needed and more. There was more than enough room for me and my 7 friends to spread out and sleep. The fridge and kitchen were spotless and well-equipped. We enjoyed spending time around the fire and under the gazebo in their beautiful yard. I would 100% recommend this place!
