Lake access is a short walk to Tuyll street. The lakebed can be sandy or stoney depending on what the lake gives you that day. But it sure is fun to try to find the ever changing sandbars. Generally you will find sand 3ft out. It's fun to go stone collecting - Lake Huron is a geologists paradise! Just bring some water shoes. The nice thing is, it's not weedy or slimy at all.

| We had a wonderful time at Ponchos Porch, very beautiful home, had everything we needed to make a family meal. BBQ worked great. Master bedroom had an amazing bathroom, the deck was a good place to relax with a coffee in the morning. We had to work from the cottage a few days and the wifi was excellent, didn't have any issues and we were able to stay connected with work.
We will definitely be coming back to Bayfield and Ponchos Porch again.
