Looking for a somewhat remote getaway and great privacy? This one-of-a-kind, custom-built retreat on a small bay along the shores of beautiful Georgian Bay will naturally pull you to explore Mother Nature's wonders. Situated on a quiet bay that opens up to the expansive waters of Georgian Bay, this location is great for motorized or non-motorized boat activities. Paddle a kayak to the Shawanaga River to observe bountiful wildlife with miles of river to explore. The impressive deck that runs the length of the cottage faces the 400 feet of water frontage offering island views and simply magnificent sunsets.
This 4,500 square foot, three-bedroom plus loft sleeps twelve comfortably. This uniquely Mexican style cottage offers lake views from every room in the house. Spend quality time together in the great room with 30-foot cathedral ceilings and comfortable seating for eight. Curl-up and enjoy a crackling fire in the beautiful Georgian Bay stone fireplace or sneak away for some quiet time in the artist's nook room.
Overlooking the living-room is the open-concept, sea-coloured kitchen and dining-room with a custom-built walnut table and seating for eight. The kitchen is fully-equipped with a fridge, stove, toaster oven, microwave, coffee maker, and all the tools for preparing a lovely meal for the family. There is also a washer/
dryer on the main level.
The wooden floors throughout the cottage are something special. These 120-year-old reclaimed American red pine boards have been selectively chosen, refinished and laid with care to give the cottage a warm and inviting feel. The geothermal, radiant heated floors will keep you warm even on cool nights.
The master bedroom with a luxurious California king bed and spacious ensuite with jacuzzi tub, is located on the main level. There are two other bedrooms on the main level of the cottage. One has a queen and the other has a king bed. All bedrooms have 20 foot vaulted ceilings with ceiling fans providing an open and airy feel.
The loft is perfect for the kids' slumber parties, with two queen mattresses and one double mattress. The loft is also equipped with two workout bikes and a step machine and overlooks the great room.
The cottage has two and a half bathrooms on the main level. There is a three-piece washroom down one wing of the cottage and the half bath in another wing of the cottage. The ensuite is located off the master bedroom. A special Muskoka- style cottage touch is the outdoor shower tucked around the side of the cottage, shower under the stars while listening to the waves roll in.

With 400 feet of waterfront, there will be no shortage of family outdoor fun. The cottage has a western exposure with all-day sun. With ample room to dock a powerboat, enjoy the open waters of Georgian Bay -- tubing and waterskiing doesn't get better than this. There is a public boat launch only five-minutes from the cottage.
Located 25 minutes from Round Lake Provincial Nature Reserve where you can hike, fish and canoe. For winter fun the cottage is a 40-minute drive to Killbear Provincial Park which has the Park to Park trail for Snowmobiling, Cross Country Skiing, Snowshoeing & Backcountry, Dog Sledding, ATV'ing, Winter (Fat) Biking and Mountain Biking.
**Check-in: after 4:00pm and Check-out: before 10:00am
**Linens: Guests need to supply their own sheets, pillowcases and all towels - including kitchen, bath and beach towels.
**Paper products: The cottage will provide enough to get you started, but vacationers must supply their own, including toilet paper and paper towels.
**Adult life jackets are supplied. Vacationers must bring their own children's life jackets due to safety and liability concerns
