Open all year around! The lodge has a great sandy beach, with shallow entry, a clean shoreline for swimming, fishing, kayaking, or canoeing. It is perfect for families. Level lot with a lot of room to play. It has lots of wildlife, and wonderful panoramic lake views. It is also very close to the ATV and snowmobile trails. There is a boat launch close by and a fantastic dock for your boat. We also have 2 canoes available for your use. El Norte Lodge is a piece of art. It features an amazing True North home, beautiful waterfront, and incredible scenery around. It has all the comforts of modern living combined with the charm you will rarely find in any other accommodation. The house has an open concept design, big bedrooms, brand new recreation room, wood stove, and amazing window views. Just renovated rec. room It includes all the city comforts: Air conditioning, Full cellular coverage, Laundry, Tv, DVD, games room (air hokey, Foosball table) .... The property is set on Buckshot Lake, a quiet lake that is part of the North Frontenac Township. The lodge is set among pine trees in the rustic Canadian Shield. Buckshot lake has an elevation of 291 meters above sea level. The perimeter of the lake is 19 kilometers, with the deepest point at about 33 meters. Buckshot Lake supports a cold water fishery, in particular; Lake Trout, Walleye, Smallmouth and Largemouth Bass. Only 1% of the lakes in Ontario has trout. If you are looking for something different. | We enjoyed a wonderful week at El Norte in August 2020. It is very clean, spacious and very well supplied enabling us to host our adult children (3), spouses (2) and grandchildren (5) at times during the week. Dining room table easily seated 6 adults and 5 children. All beds were very comfortable. Beautiful lake with great waterfront and dock for everyone to enjoy canoeing, fishing and swimming. Both kids and adults enjoyed the fire pit for evening camp fires and making gooey s'mores. A wonderful deck for sitting and reading or visiting. We enjoyed our week so much that we have already made a reservation for next summer. Harold and Wendy

| This year our family of 12, from grand parents in their 70s down to the youngest grandchild of age six, stayed for one week at the El Norte Lodge and it was perfect ? we really couldn't have asked for anything more. The rooms were spacious and beds were new and comfortable. The kitchen was really well suited for all of us and well stocked with all of the right kitchen ware needed. The cottage was super clean upon arrival - we felt as though we were in a resort. The lake was safe and shallow for the little one at the shore but plenty deep for jumping and diving at the end of the nice long dock. There were two solid canoes that were used daily by our gang for exploring and fishing. The lake was quiet and the neighbors all around were super friendly and respectful. It is obvious that this cottage is super well maintained and cared for. This is a great family spot. Thanks so much to Ricardo and family for giving us the space to unwind and enjoy our time together. We look forward to returning one day soon.

| Excellent place to stay. This was by far the best cottage experience we've had. The owners take excellent care of their property and have it perfectly set up. Nice lawns in front, a sandy beach and sandy bottom shallow entry for young kids. The long dock brings you to deep enough water to jump in and it's set back enough from the boaters to be safe for swimming. The water was so clear we were snorkeling and finding shells and rocks among the sandy bottom. The deck overlooking the water is huge and they even have a gate to keep the little ones from going down to the water, was handy with our quick moving 2 year old. The kitchen was huge and all kitchen supplies were there, bedrooms were exactly as needed and there was even a hangout area in the basement for older kids. All around it was everything we wanted and more, now to try to book another week stay here as you guys are quite popular!

| We just returned from our stay at El Norte Lodge; we stayed from July 18, 2020, to July 25, 2020. We were a party of 10 and there was plenty of room for everyone. The beds were comfortable and the place was very clean. The cottage is air conditioned which is great for sleeping in really hot nights and to cool off during the day. The beach was perfect for the children as they were able to walk in a long ways and still be able to touch. There is a huge dock with a sitting area. It is great for swimming (no weeds). The deck is big and lots of places for people to sit; there is also a fire pit. The kitchen is also huge with a large seating area. There is a washer and dryer available for use as well as pots, pans, cutlery, plates, cups, cutting boards etc. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be returning again next year.

| We thoroughly enjoyed our stay this summer at el Norte. We are 18 (10 adults and 8 children) and were very comfortably accommodated and it exceeded our expectations.
El Norte was sparkling clean and very well equipped. The water was great (shallow for the little ones) and good for swimming for the older crowd.
The Hosts are excellent and helped us have a superb vacation. We highly recommend el Norte!
