Welcome to Blue Loon Cottage Renovated and furnished top to bottom, this family cottage is the perfect location for your family and friends (up to 8 adults and 4 children) to enjoy your vacation all year round. Nicely nestled on the shores of the beautiful Loon Lake and just a 15 minute drive to the Village of Haliburton, it offers plenty to do for everyone, any time of the year. All you need to bring to the Blue Loon in all seasons are your clothes, beach towels, toiletries and food. The cottage is professionally deep cleaned and all beddings and towels replaced at the end of each stay. This means you receive an immaculate cottage and don't have to clean deeply at the end of your stay. May we suggest? In summer, cool down in the pristine water of Loon Lake swimming, canoeing, fishing, etc. Enjoy a delicious barbecue and a cold beer or a glass of wine on the deck while watching the breathtaking sunsets. Roast marshmallows on the fire. Or attend one of many adventures, activities or cultural events happening in and around Haliburton. In winter, go skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, skating, etc. Curl up in front of the wood burning fireplaces with your favorite book and a cup of hot chocolate. Indulge the chef in you in the gourmet kitchen and stream your favourite music on built in speakers while you cook. In fall, go for long walks, drive ATV's in over 1,400km long trails or use any other excuse to stay outdoors and relish the spectacular foliage and scenery. The forest is the most generous displaying its splendid colors at this time of year.

Haliburton Sculpture Forest, in Glebe Park near the village of Haliburton which is a unique outdoor collection of sculptures by Canadian and international artists. The trails in the Sculpture Forest for walking and bike riding in spring, summer and fall and skiing in the winter provide changing perspectives of the forest and the sculptures in each of the seasons.
During the first two weekends of October, experience art at the Annual Haliburton County Studio Tour. This self-guided tour will take you to the studios of local artists so that you can experience their creative process first-hand.

| We had the most wonderful family week at Blue Loon Cottage! The lake is so beautifuland we spent almost the entire time in or on the water, including swims across the lake accompanied by the kayaks.
The cottage is so comfortable,well-designed and relaxing.

| My sisters and I and our families spent a glorious week on Loon Lake at Albert's cottage! The cottage is so very well appointed, very clean and newly renovated. The open concept design was great for games, food prep and dining. We also enjoyed eating together on the deck facing the lake....beautiful sunsets too! The water is perfect for diving off the dock and use of the paddle boat and kayaks was a real bonus! My boys caught some small mouth right off the dock! Everything is within 15 minutes should you need to stock up on anything. We would highly recommend this beautiful spot for young and older families as you can walk into the lake from the sandy shore.
