What a wonderful family vacation we had at Sandy Pines cottage! Pulling into the driveway you could already see the pride of ownership, which carried on throughout the cottage. The cottage is clean, nicely decorated and well supplied - makes you feel at home right away.

Not sure what the best view/spot was - waking up each morning to the view from the master bedroom, the view from the large windows in the living room, the view from the deck, or sitting at the end of the dock! We enjoyed the use of canoe, kayaks and paddle boards, swimming and fishing off the dock - no one was bored. We also enjoyed the shallow sandy beach entry even though it was covered with water - perfect if you have young children. A great fire pit too - roasted many yummy smores!

Being at the end of a dead end road was great - so quiet!! The beds were comfortable, a very spacious master bedroom, smaller secondary bedrooms, but comfy and cozy! We are a family of 8 and we fit no problem!! Lots of room to sit in the living room, around the kitchen table or on the deck and around the fire pit. We never felt crowded.

If you book here, you will not be disappointed!!

We spent a week at Sandy Pines and had a fantastic time. Two families of three in our group and there was lots of room for all. Beds were comfy and the kitchen had everything that was needed and more for the stay. The fishing was fantastic, with some fish being caught right off the dock, but the best bass fishing we have experienced in a long time (and I fish a lot!) was a couple kms west at the mouth of the inlet - not too far at all. A bonus was a trip to the dump where we were able to see black bears, very cool! We dont often return to cottages as we like to move around, but this cottage might get a second stay!

We spent Labour Day weekend as a family kids are 2,4 and 6. The cottage was clean and had everything we needed. Loved the space with lots of natural light and lots of space indoors and out. Deck is shady all day and the kids loved watching the red squirrel at work eating and throwing pine cones. We had a great time fishing off the dock, watching the boats go by and we took them canoeing to check out the islands close by. Water level was high during our stay so no beach but the sand bottom was perfect for the kids to step in and splash around. Owners were easy to get a hold of and respond quickly.

My sons and I rented this lovely cottage for the week and had some of their friends up for the weekend. Everyone had a wonderful time enjoying the swimming, fishing, canoeing and games around the big dining room table. The cottage has everything you may need and has a great spacious lay out with large windows for an amazing view of the water, letting in tons of natural sunlight. The deck is large and shady and overlooks the water right below and is just a few steps down to the dock. The water was so warm and was a great place to paddle our new stand up board, up and down the river. Being on a dead end, it was a quiet hidden piece of paradise, the perfect place to unplug and relax and sit back and watch the spectacular sunsets and sunrises. We generated many special memories there.

My daughter, daughters-in-law, grand babies and myself stayed at this cottage for a girls week and had a great time. The guys joined us for the weekend so we were a bit crowded but never felt cramped or closed in - the large windows, open rooms and the deck gave us lots of room. The cottage was well stocked with everything we needed. The new mattresses were very comfortable.
We enjoyed swimming, fishing and all the nature.
This cottage is at the end of a dead end road so no traffic to worry about.
The neighbors were welcoming but not bothersome. We felt safe and relaxed.
I would definitely recommend this cottage.
