Perfect location for quite water kayaking and canoeing.
Located on south shore of Byng Inlet just a short boat ride to the big waters of Georgian Bay with excellent road access and plenty of parking. The Inlet is a great place to kayak or canoe on quiet waters.
This is a beautiful comfortable family cottage (max of 4 adults) with a huge private deck overlooking your own clean sand beach (Size of beach is altered by Georgian Bay water levels. Shallow sand entry, with clean warm water and a 40 ft stable dock. Great fishing!
Also on the large shaded deck overlooking the beach is a propane BBQ, comfortable seating and tables.
You can enjoy the sunsets and sunrises here.
Boat rentals available at local marina and there are boat launches if you bring your own boat. Only a 3 km boat ride to the most beautiful part of Georgian Bay with lots of Crown owned islands to explore.
Tim Hortons, Grocery stores, LCBO, gas station, and restaurants nearby. A great place for young and old to relax and create memories that will last a lifetime. Local attractions include, the French River Interpretive Centre, boat cruises, golf courses, ATV Tours, excellent fishing, and more. Sudbury is only a one hour drive, Science North and Dynamic Earth make a wonderful and memorable day excursion for the whole family. Parry Sound is 40 minutes to the south.

Note: Cottage is 7 minutes off Highway 69, 45 minutes north of Parry Sound, 1 hour south of Sudbury. On a well maintained year round road with ample parking. Byng Inlet is a deep water inlet, this cottage has a beautiful sandy beach yet deep enough for diving off the end of the dock. | Sandy Pines Cottage provided everything we needed in a week away from home to enjoy a relaxing vacation: enjoyed the kayaks, canoes, paddle board, dock, clean Georgian Bay Waters, sandy beach, great swimming, deck for morning breakfasts and evening dinners, elaborate firepit. The cottage was well equipped. We loved the main living room and decor. It was nice to be on a dead end road, allowing the little one to learn to bike ride! It was apparent that the owners take pride in the upkeep of their cottage...We sure hope to come back again next year :)

| Sandy Pines is a cute little cottage perfect for a couple or small family. The great room is a lovely light filled space full of fun cottage decor. The deck is shaded nicely and is a great spot to sit and enjoy watching the boat traffic or sipping a beer! Swimming off the dock is the best! Nothing beats dark, deep, clear Georgian Bay water on a stinking hot day!

| This was our second year renting this cottage, which is rare for us but is a testament to how much we enjoy our vacations here. The cottage has everything you need, is clean, and has great living space. We spend all of our time on the deck or fishing in the inlet or on the bay. We took a boat ride to the mouth of the French River and the beauty is unparalleled. I already cant wait to return!

| What a wonderful family vacation we had at Sandy Pines cottage! Pulling into the driveway you could already see the pride of ownership, which carried on throughout the cottage. The cottage is clean, nicely decorated and well supplied - makes you feel at home right away.
Not sure what the best view/spot was - waking up each morning to the view from the master bedroom, the view from the large windows in the living room, the view from the deck, or sitting at the end of the dock! We enjoyed the use of canoe, kayaks and paddle boards, swimming and fishing off the dock - no one was bored. We also enjoyed the shallow sandy beach entry even though it was covered with water - perfect if you have young children. A great fire pit too - roasted many yummy smores!
Being at the end of a dead end road was great - so quiet!! The beds were comfortable, a very spacious master bedroom, smaller secondary bedrooms, but comfy and cozy! We are a family of 8 and we fit no problem!! Lots of room to sit in the living room, around the kitchen table or on the deck and around the fire pit. We never felt crowded.
If you book here, you will not be disappointed!!
