Located at the start of the award winning EPIC Wine Trail, this modern home has 3 sides of the rear yard surrounded by beautiful Lake Erie. Famous for its glorious sunsets, it's even an amateur photographer's dream. Our home sleeps 6 comfortably with 2 bedrooms both with queen pillow top beds and 1 queen pull out sofa bed with memory foam top, 1.5 baths, hardwood floors, gourmet kitchen featuring granite counters, gas cooktop, stove, microwave, fridge with ice maker and water purifier, dishwasher, cozy gas fireplace, indoor jacuzzi tub, separate shower, outdoor hot tub, Weber BBQ - perfect for fun, romance or celebrating friendships. We are tech friendly with keyless entry for your convenience. You will receive a 4 digit code unique to your stay prior to check-in. Also included - WIFI and Netflix. Be sure to open The Lake House Guide on Alexa to ask her questions to help you find things and enhance your stay. Instructions provided. If you are looking for an active vacation, Farm Dog Cycles will rent and deliver bicycles to you. This is the perfect way to visit our local award winning wineries while getting in a little exercise. There are seven wineries within cycling distance. Make sure you visit our local craft breweries as well as Wolfhead Distillery, also close by. We are located 14 minutes from Fox Glen Golf Club, available to the public. Approximately 45 minutes away is Point Pelee National Park, Canada's southernmost tip, featuring canoeing, bird watching, Monarch butterfly migration, hiking, Dark Sky Nights, Perseids Meteor Shower, and more. 16 minute to the west is the quaint, historic town of Amherstburg established in 1796. Both rich in history and trend forward, Amherstburg has something for everyone. Located at the mouth of the Detroit River, it features cozy restaurants, coffee shops, shopping, museums, tours of Fort Malden, and more. If you prefer a day of shopping, we are located 20 minutes from the Walker Rd/ Provincial Rd shopping district.
If it's a more relaxing getaway you're looking for, wave watching in the outdoor swing or indoor rocking chairs is one of our favourite activities. If you prefer to get wet, we are steps from Erie View Beach. At night, enjoy a glass of wine under the stars and allow the jets from our private hot tub to melt away your cares. Our Lake House is beautiful any time of year and we want every guest to enjoy our home as much as we do.

| Dear Joan , my my what a beautiful place you have made for everybody that come. The decore inside is so nice and . what a relaxing feeling it placed on us well done very cozy and warm. So quiet and the sound of the lake made it so wonderfull to sleep. The outside was also quiet and sound of water to us was great Had a wonderfull 4 days of rest . The hot tub was a bonus to us. | Joan is a great Host! From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we felt we were taken care of - check in/check out was seamless, all things we stocked as per needs. The had great recommendations for nearby activities like the beach and wineries. All communication was prompt.
The house itself was perfect, clean, and cozy - it overlooked the water and we fell asleep to the sound of crashing waves. The beds were a bit softer(personally don't prefer for those with back aches), the BBQ, hot tub and fire pit was set up outside, and the space was just enough for us to enjoy and relax. Hot tub was just the right spot after the day long activities. But Make sure you carry some bug spray for outdoors as there may be increased bug activity due to rain.
When the water was calmer, we sat beside the fire pit and watched the magical sunset on the deck, also watched the fireflies. The location was very quiet and private for someone looking to get away from the busy city life.
Highly recommended all around and we hope to be back one day.

| What an amazing place to come and relax, rejuvenate and enjoy everything this wonderful place has to offer! Not only is it super clean, warm and welcoming, the views from the house are stunning. Wave watching was mesmerizing. The hot tub was the perfect spot to watch a beautiful winter sunset. The luxurious jacuzzi tub was another fabulous place to unwind with a book and a glass of wine. All the details big and small are taken care of and thoughtful amenities are provided! We read by the fireplace, played games, wave watched, walked on the beach, napped, and it was perfect, just what we needed. The electronic conveniences were fun too! Alexa providing music and turning on/off lights, Blu Ray player, Netflix, Wifi, and more! We couldn't have enjoyed our time more! It completely exceeded our expectations!! We highly recommend The Lake House Ontario and can't wait to go back!
