Crows Nest is one of 4 cottages we rent on our 20 acre private property. Situated along the edge of the woods on a gently sloping meadow that leads to the ocean. Crows nest is 500 feet from the beach. Table & chairs & a bbq is on the deck. Wood Islands is on the southeastern tip of the Island only a 2 minute drive to the ferry. The cottage has 400 square feet. The bedroom and living room is combined. There is a Queen bed and a comfortable futon double. Stackable washer & dryer is in the cottage. All bedding & towels are provided. The 20 by 12 deck overlooks the northumberland strait and has a beautiful clean sandy beach with sandbars and lots of marine life. There are chaise loungers, umbrellas, and tables on the beach. 2 km from Wood Islands ferry, two restaurants & two parks. 40 minute drive to Charlottetown, 20 minutes to Montague. We loved our stay, we stay for 10 days at the cottage.
The location is really wonderful. The beach allows for long walks at low tide and plenty of fun activities in the water.
The cottage is well appointed from the kitchen to the bathroom. The beds are very comfortable too. We recommend this place 100% !

My girlfriend and I we're visiting PEI from NYC and spent 5 days at Crow's Nest. We enjoyed our visit a lot! The location was quiet and peaceful, the beach was a quick walk from the house, and the views were amazing. The house was very clean, comfortable, and well supplied with everything we needed. The grill and fire pit were really nice to have as well. The host was very responsive. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful, scenic getaway.

We were so thrilled with our stay at Homeport's Crows Nest cottage! It's so well maintained, the kitchen is fully stocked, the bathroom was very clean and tidy ? lots of towels and the wifi was really good! Just out the front door there's a great deck with two eating/lounging areas. It's on a lovely property that has a private beach, so you can go for a little walk along the water and hunt for beautiful sea shells, sit on the beach and tuck your toes in the soft sand or sit on a bench for two and take it the lovely view. At low tide you could walk quite a ways with the clear water barely knee high and you get to see some little crabs and tiny hermit crabs now and then! Darryl, our host, was a pleasure to work with, he was super responsive and flexible! We would definitely love to stay there again. A little slice of heaven!
