| We stayed at this cottage for a week in September and it was definitely the highlight of our summer! The cottage comes extremely well equipped, everything we needed was right there so we could spend our time relaxing without worrying about anything. The tap water was very good quality (and tasted great), so no worries about drinking it or needing to bring in jugs of drinking water. The island is located on a nice sheltered section of the lake, so there's not many big boats zooming by, and with the cottage facing out to an uninhabited island, the view is amazing. We took the canoe and kayak out to explore lake, and it was a great paddle around some of the bigger islands. The location of the island was perfect- from one end we could watch the sunrise, and from the other watch the sunset - beautiful! Having two fire pits available is a great option - most nights, we were down by the lake, but on a windy evening, we had our campfire in the second pit that's sheltered from the wind by the cottage. Finally, Mark was a wonderful host! He was very helpful and accommodating, and was there to meet us and show us around the island when we arrived. We'll definitely be planning another trip to this cottage!

| We recently returned from renting this beautiful property and found it so relaxing and peaceful. The cottage was spacious, clean and offered pretty much anything you needed to enjoy your stay. We loved the privacy the island offered. The lake was a great place to fish or to just relax in or along it. Numerous lookout points for you to also enjoy sunsets and sunrises. Definitely would go back and highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys tranquility.

| We thought the cottage was excellent and very quiet. Aside from no AC which we knew going into it there was plenty of room for everyone there. The kids had a blast at the beach area and the fishing was excellent. Just make sure to get the card for the dump or it quite a drive to peterborough. Would definatley stay there again.
