Water shoes are recommended for safe lake access.
In winter, do not walk on the lake ice for your safety. It looks pretty but is typically very thin and is hazardous.

| This is an absolutely superb accommodation. The owners have carefully and tastefully provided everything to create a home where you feel you could stay forever. Best equipped accommodation we have ever experienced and we have rented in Canada, Europe, the USA and the UK. Peaceful waterfront with resident swans, blue water, terns , birds , herons and tranquil passers- by or fishermen in boats occasionally livened up by seadoos gave us a lot of fun as we watched and waved to them. For the more adventurous try paddle boarding, pedal boating, kayaking and for foodies the kitchen and equipment therein is a dream come true. Fresh air, luxurious showers, fluffy towels, comfy beds helped to ensure a good nights sleep.Who could ask for anything more We aim to return again and again.....

| This cottage is beautiful. We had people using wheelchairs, so it being all one floor was wonderful! There is one step in, but we had a small ramp and it wasn't a problem at all. One of the washrooms has a roll in shower (yes without a lip). That made a world of difference and caregiving easy.
Getting into the water is not as easy. However, some people got in and loved that they could cool down. The fire and backyard space is perfect and super easy access for those with mobility aids or that have a hard time walking.
We were entertained by the boats that go by all the time. We played games on the front lawn as it is soooo bit. We hung out in the Bunkie. We made visits to town, the beach, the swing bridge and the neighbours are so friendly.
I would say this cottage is WC accessible as long as you don't need extra room for doors and bring a ramp. If you have children, or are taking a senior, it is very easy to get around and you can see the lake from the window.

| This cottage was perfect for our annual family vacation with my parents and sister. Everyone, especially the kids, wished we had booked two weeks instead of one!
This is a newly renovated cottage that is modern, clean and well equipped. The owners have payed attention to including lots of little extras for the family like beach towels and toys and a basket filled with treats which was enjoyed by all.
There are large panoramic windows in the main living area and the view on the water is beautiful and relaxing. Everyone appreciated observing geese, swans and other birds in the early morning and evening. This was the perfect place to unwind! We also enjoyed easy access to the water and paddling excursions to the nearby beach on non-windy days. It is also located at a reasonable distance from other beaches, shopping, antiques stores and Prince Edward Counties wineries.
