All 4 cottages provide amazing Lake Temagami waterfront views from the privacy of your own deck.
All necessary cookware, utensils and flatware are provided as well as paper towels, toilet paper, dish soap, towels, and clean bedding and linens.
Cottages are all equipped with full sized electric appliances and small appliances such as microwave, coffee maker and kettle are also supplied.
The cottages come standard with six single beds. We can offer up to two optional king sized beds per cottage. This is at no extra charge. Please arrange your choice of beds at the time of booking.
Full bathrooms with a shower, toilet and sink.
Your cottage will also include satellite and a flatscreen tv with built in DVD player as well as comfortable couches for those rainy and lazy days! DVD's and games can be borrowed from the lodge shop.
Wifi can be accessed from specific locations on the property. Transportation to and from lodge included with your stay, any extra transportation services can be arranged for an additional fee.
Lake Temagami is known for its deep crystal clear waters-in fact Temagami means deep water by shore in Ojibway. The clear water and abundant rock structures make it a haven for a variety of fish species including lake trout, walleye, northern pike, smallmouth bass and whitefish!
Great Spirit Lodge is happy to offer 3 different types of motorized boats and canoes for rental.
Lake Temagami is home to some of the largest red and white pine trees in Ontario! Hiking trails are very short paddle or boat ride from Great Spirit Lodge on Temagami Island. We are happy to provide you with maps of the hiking trails, or go along as a tour guide with you.
The town of Temagami is home to the historic train station, plenty of art galleries and the community market on Saturday morning. Local chip trucks and the grocery store offer all your food needs. The historic fire tower offers the best view of the area.

Hosts live on the property and are available for all guest needs, ring the door bell or track down one of your hosts on the property to answer all your questions and address any concerns or needs.
In order to get to Great Spirit Lodge you must turn onto the Lake Temagami Access Road which his located approximately 4km south of the town of Temagami on highway 11. We ask that you call us at 705-237-8974 as you turn onto the access road so we can arrange a pickup. Follow the signage to manitou landing where your hosts will meet you and bring you to the lodge with a short but scenic boat ride!
