The beautiful Bruce Trail is minutes away from our cottage. The popular Grotto is within a 40 minute drive. There are many activities in the area for families. There are kayak rentals in Tobermory. Or bring your own - you can launch right from the yard. SCUBA is also popular in Tobermory. There are scenic caves in the area, golf courses and sandy beaches close by. | We returned July 2024 because Bluestones has everything needed for a comfortable and authentic cottage experience; tasteful decor, quality furniture, linens, extra towels, cushions and extra seating on the deck and fans for air circulation on the warmer nights we experienced.
The kitchen area has a large refrigerator and all appliances needed as well as quality crockery, cutlery, glassware and all utensils, pots and pans for preparing the meals we enjoyed both indoors and in the gazebo on the deck with a panoramic view of Georgian Bay and Cape Chin area.
After swimming we especially enjoyed picnics at the table on the beach and the comfortable chairs on the deck by the water, perfect for watching the spectacular sunrise, quiet reading and stargazing at night by the campfire.
The hosts, Pat and Paul, have anticipated and provided for all ages in the games and entertainment room downstairs. Especially appreciated one rainy day by our multigenerational group and by the grandson who forgot his Fire Stick which Pat kindly mailed back to him in Montreal.

| Blue Stones was the perfect cottage for our family of 6. The rooms were spacious and comfortable with plenty of room for us and our 4 kids. The games room was a great space for the kids to enjoy time together. Pat and Paul were excellent hosts who took the time to come and meet us. The cottage was well stocked and unlike many other cottages that we have stayed at, they provided all the linens, even beach towels. The deck, the view and the waterfront were all amazing. A wonderful place to spend time with our family and celebrate Canada Day surrounded by our country's glorious nature, from the calling of the loons to the fox and bear sightings. We will definitely be coming back. Thanks Pat and Paul, for sharing your little piece of heaven.

| Awesome view, very confortable for up to 6 people, you will not miss anything from home, extra blankets, kitchen fully equipped, toys, dvd, plenty of chairs indoor and outdoor, super quiet area, peaceful place. If you are looking to rent in Lion's head or Cape Chin area: this is it!

| We had an amazing time at Bluestones. It has everything one could need and the hosts Pat and Paul are wonderful - so considerate to ensure that their guests have all that they need. The beach is fantastic, the hiking is fantastic - what a wonderful oasis. Highly recommended.
