NOTES (low-season rate) REVIEWS | Angela | |
| We just had a wondeful stay in the cottage last week and would love to share some experience here.
The cottage is located on a quite and private road that provides lots of privacy. Inside the cottage, the place was very clean and neat. Open concept living room, kitchen and dining room offer lots of space and light. All three bedrooms are well layout.
We also liked the large deck with glass panels. Great sitting area to view the sunset. Don't forget to go out at night to watch stars, it is so beautiful (suggest you have bug repellent before going out).
Owner Dan had been very responsive to any question we had during our stay. Overall it was a great trip that all six of us enjoyed.

| Our family of 4 was fortunate to stay at Dan's cottage for an amazing week starting July 6/2019.
If anything, the photos of the cottage do not do justice to the spaciousness of the open concept living/dining and kitchen space - lots of large windows and a sliding door to the deck and spectacular lake view! The glass railing provides an unobstructed view to the shoreline and ever changing water. Sunsets, in a word, are spectacular. Trees to either side provide plenty of privacy, and the clear view of the lake is refreshing.
Our excellent first impressions of this very nicely renovated cottage (all new interior, windows and decks) carried through for the entire week. The cottage is immaculate, and nicely decorated as well, with 3 comfortable bedrooms - especially the master with direct deck access and lake/sunset views. It really feels like a vacation home and not just a house on the lake - nice artwork and wall coverings (paintings, paddles, snowshoes) add an authentic but contemporary cottage feel.
The really large cedar deck on the lake side has a convenient propane fire table and 4 Muskoka chairs - for when lighting a fire in the lakeside fire pit is just too far from the cold beer or wine :) Along with the large outdoor table and chairs, we used this outdoor "room" all day long.
The 2 kayaks provided us with both active experiences and memories.
All this, and only about 15 minutes to town/nearby attractions!
We look forward to our next visit!
