This three + bedroom, SPECTACULAR waterfront cottage is located on the shores of Dorcas Bay near the historic Village of Tobermory. The open concept living room, kitchen/ dining area provides a seating arrangement for six and seating for 4 more at the lake side deck or the front patio. The kitchen area is fully equipped with a fridge, stove, and microwave.
The spacious living room has a 55" 4K HD Smart television, Blu-ray player, comfortable couch, love seat and chair for relaxing after a days hike while watching the waves of Lake Huron roll in.
On this same level you with find 2 bedrooms both with a queen size bed and a four piece bathroom with tub shower combo. A washer and dryer are also available for your convenience.
Off the living room, down a small flight of stairs there is a cozy sunroom with a double bed and love seat. Further down the hall from the sunroom is a third bedroom with a set of single bunk beds. Take the stairs up to the loft where you will find a queen bed and a two piece bathroom.
Trees surrounding the cottage provide a lovely private setting. There are two decks on the property. There is a wooden deck at the entrance of the cottage that is a perfect place to sit and have your wake-up coffee in the morning sun. The new lakeside deck is a wonderful place to relax, read and eat your meals while watching the waves roll in. This deck has a table which seats 4 with a large umbrella for shade and two person bench. A beautiful view of Lake Huron and the evening sunsets are a sight to behold from this deck!
You have your choice of recreational activities here. Whether you want to spend your time exploring the shores of Lake Huron by kayak or have a fun game of volley-ball on sandy court...also a great spot for the little ones to build sand castles.
In the evening enjoy smores, ghost stories and the stars down by the lakeside firepit.
Tobermory and Bruce Peninsula National Park have become destination locations for families that enjoy outdoor activities. Don't forget to visit the world class visitor center with its interactive and education displays, movie and viewing tower. You can enjoy a day trip to Singing Sands, Flowerpot Island and view shipwrecks through the glass bottom of the boat. Hiking trails are abundant including the Bruce Trail. There is so much to do, you will have to return next year.

Smoking is permitted outside the cottage by the firepit only. Do not leave any cigarette butts on the property. Please use a proper receptacle to dispose of them. Cigarette butt collection (if left on the ground) is subject to a $200 fee.
Fireplace is not for renters use.
Linens ,Towels and Paper Products are not supplied
Renters are responsible to leave the cottage clean at the end of the rental period
Waste Disposal
Never leave garbage outside the cottage as it will attract wildlife.
ALL THE GARBAGE MUST BE PICKED UP BY THE RENTERS AT THE END OF THEIR STAY.
Renters may take their Garbage to the local landfill site. Any garbage left at the cottage will result in a $150 disposal charge.
Bathroom / Septic System
The cottage operates on a septic system. The basic rule is do not put anything down the toilet other than natural waste and toilet paper (and be conservative with the paper).
Number of Persons Using the Holiday Accommodation:
The number of persons present overnight and during the day on the property shall not exceed the number of guests listed on the booking agreement, without prior authorization from the owner.
Vacationers who contravene the maximum numbers of adults and children (individuals 16 years old and older at considered adults ) permitted at each cottage will be subject to immediate eviction without refund or an additional nightly charge of $500.00 per person, at the discretion of the Owner.
There will be no subletting of the cottage property permitted. Where separate parties will be occupying the property at different time periods, booking forms must be completed for each party.
There shall be no camping, tenting, or otherwise placing auxiliary accommodation facilities on the property without prior written authorization.
Fireworks are banned from cottage . LIGHTING FIREWORKS OFF AT THE COTTAGE DURING YOUR STAY WILL RESULT IN IMMEDIATE EVICTION FROM THE PROPERTY.
cottage use the lake as the primary source of water, including drinking water. We recommend you bring bottled water for drinking regardless of the water source, and whether or not it is filtered
Repair:
The Vacationer shall keep the holiday accommodation and all furniture, fixtures, chattels, fittings, and effects in or about the holiday accommodation in the same state of repair and condition as at the commencement of the holiday, and shall leave the holiday accommodation in the same state of cleanliness and general order in which it was found. Failure to do so, to the satisfaction of the Owner may result in a damage/cleaning charge being levied.
The Vacationer shall not rearrange the furniture or fixtures in the house.
Other Conditions of Booking:
The Vacationer shall abide by the conditions of booking and any other instructions contained in the Household Rules, Inventory Listing and/or as noted on the face of this form. All such conditions apply to guests visiting the property, whether day visitors or overnight.
Any Vacationer who contravenes said conditions shall be subject to immediate eviction without refund and/or a penalty of $100.00 per day at the discretion of the owner.
Any Vacationer requesting return of items left at a property will be subject to a minimum $25.00 Administration fee for return of said requested items.

Flying, crawling, scurrying animals, and bug life are a part of Cottage Country! Life out here is usually pretty different from life in the city. That is why you're going on vacation right? So relax, read a book, maybe a book on cottage country wild life, and remember that most critters are more frightened of you than you are of them. Community Notes
Cottage communities have become very inter-dependent. Everyone knows everyone else and keeps an eye on their property for them. Don't be surprised if someone asks who you are. Explain that you are guests of the owner's. Your due consideration of the owner's place in that community will be appreciated - no loud noise after 10:00 P.M.,
At the cottage entrance AND backyard there are an outdoor security cameras for the safety & security of our guests and the premises. The camera doesn't interfere with the privacy of our guests.

| Excellent location, close to Tobermory and the Grotto. Large, clean cottage offers many amenities! Beach volleyball, kayaking, fully equipped kitchen and the 2 bathrooms are a big plus for a large group.
Comfortable beds could easily sleep 10 guests.
The owner was easy to contact and quickly responded to any questions.

| Cottage was so spacious, clean and with best Views one can ever get.!
Mesmerizing sunset views from living room as well as direct pathway to the beach.
Well equipped with kitchen accessories and utensils, many activities to do on the cottage itself including Kayaking, volleyball, barbecue.
Most relaxing feeling when you reach there..!
Must visit place for family and to make memories memorable..!

| The cottage has a great location where you can see prettiest sunsets!! It is well equipped with literally everything you can think of including beach volleyball with net, BBQ, kayak and every utensil to make any cuisine!! Also it is very close to places of visit.
Property owner easy to contact and responsive.
Overall a great stay and hospitality! Sure worth each penny!!

| This cottage never disappoints! This is the second time renting and we absolutely loved it! The best part of the cottage is definitely the amenities, in particular the private beach volleyball court. The easy access to the water also gives some of the best sunsets. Definitely coming back here.

| I rented this cottage for a family vacation for 7 adults ages 17 to 79. The owner was very easy to work with and provided us with a lot of details which made our stay so easy.
The facilities in the cottage were perfect for my family and my 4 grandchildren enjoyed using the kayaks and life vests that were provided to us free of charge.
The cottage was very clean upon our arrival and cleaning products were provided so that we could clean it prior to our departure which saved us a cleaning fee.
It was great having the washer & dryer as it enabled me to do my laundry prior to coming home.
Firewood was provided and we enjoyed sitting around the fire in the evening sitting on the 6 adirondack chairs. There was also 4 adirondack chairs on a platform looking over Dorus Bay which provided us with a nice quiet sitting area were we could enjoy our morning coffee or watching the sunsets.
For families with smaller children the owner does provide some outdoor toys and in the bedroom with the bunk beds games were also provided.
The only draw back to our stay was getting into the water from the shoreline was impossible for us older folks.
Just down the road from the cottage is a very nice beach called Singing Sands which has really nice facilities. The only draw back is that there is very limited parking which filled up early in the morning so we had to be dropped off and then picked up.
I highly recommend the cottage for any family stay.
