Welcome to our beach front oasis!!! Our FUN family beach house is on the south shore at Augustine Cove overlooking the Northumberland Strait. The waters here are the warmest north of the Carolinas and the beach is known for its beautiful red sand and sandstone cliffs. We are nestled on a private cove where you can swim and snorkel. At low tide you can walk for miles, explore tidal pools, dig for clams, collect sea glass, scavenge for ocean bottom treasures, make spectacular red sand castles, not to mention wonderful family memories and photos. Our beach house sleeps eight and consists of 2 bedrooms, and an amazing loft that the kids will love as well as a pull out couch in the living room if needed. There is a full four piece bathroom. The central part of the beach house is open concept, has large picture windows overlooking the water, sunken living room and pine cathedral ceilings which makes it spacious and breezy. There is a screened sunroom with panoramic ocean views from 3 sides where you can relax and enjoy a good book with your favourite beverage. The kitchen can be seen from all corners of the living area so you won't miss one minute of the fun if you decide to prepare a meal. Our fully equipped beach house includes all the amenities of home. At the front of the cottage there is a covered deck with spectacular ocean views where you can relax and while away your day with your beverage of choice and watch the seabirds, nature and other wildlife.
The night sky here is the clearest you will ever see allowing for the most spectacular star gazing as you relax around your crackling bonfire sharing the adventures of the day.
The 3 bedrooms consist of :
-master with queen size bed. -Second bedroom has bunkbeds-double on the bottom and a single on the top. -the amazing loft has a double bed. -living room has a double pull out couch for extra sleeping space.
Augustine Cove is centrally located on beautiful Prince Edward Island. Being centrally located allows for day trips and sightseeing to all parts of the island to explore the areas you want to see.
-10minutes to Confederation Bridge. -10 minutes to the nearest grocery store and Tim Hortons. -25 minutes to Summerside. -40 minutes to Charlottetown.
-40 minutes to North Shore/Cavendish

| The Ocean view was spectacular. It was enjoyed by everyone at all times of the day! Low tide was so interesting with tide pools filled with clams, starfish and crabs. Several grey herons graced us with their presence.
We loved the full moon over the Ocean while we had a family campfire.
The cottage was very clean and had lots of windows for that beautiful ocean breeze. The cottage was equipt with everything you could possibly need. Lots of information for things to do around the island.
The high cathedral ceilings created an airy feeling. Beds were comfy. Lots of sitting areas. So convenient with laundry. As well there was a hose and shower outdoors to rinse off the sea water.
Loved staying here! A piece of paradise.

| The cottage is rustic and cozy and everything was organized . The views are spectacular nothing you could ask for more. During low tides enjoying oyster digging. We loved watching the moon every night it was so amazing,

| We loved Watermelon Wine Cottage, it was such a perfect location, it was quiet and the area just beautiful. There were 8 of us and our grandkids loved it there, our grandsons took over the loft as their boys club and loved being off on their own but still a part of conversations. At night you can hear the waves and the stars are so bright. The cottage is bright and lots of windows with a view of the ocean and beach. We had so much fun and made some great memories. The owner is great to deal with, very accommodating, and the place is very clean. I would not hesitate to rent again.

| Quel beau cottage! Nous y avons séjourné pendant 5 jours et nous y retournerions. Il est bien situé, propre, avec toutes les commodités et services. Il y a une superbe grande plage de sable rouge tout près. C'est un coin très tranquille et paisible. Sonja était très disponible pour répondre à nos questions, et attentionnée.
