| We stayed at this cottage for a week at the end of July (2019). The cottage was comfortable, bright and the location was fantastic. The grounds around the cottage (including the beach) are lovely, peaceful and private. We decided not to listen to any music when we were there as the sound of the waves and the birds were so beautiful...we quickly realized you can't top the sounds of nature! We did so much during our week. Besides walks on the beach at the cottage and enjoying amazing sunsets and coffee in bed with amazing views (and soothing sounds from nature) from the master bedroom...we did several day trips...including, Yarmouth, the lighthouse at Forchu (where we had bread pudding and coffee)...walked along an amazing beach at Port Maitland, spent an afternoon at the beach in Mavillette. Visited beautiful churches along the french shore. Visited Digby (had a late lunch at the Shoreline Rest and visited the Maud Lewis house "replica") Took the ferry to Long Island and Brier Island... visited two winery's in Bear River and art galleries. Visited the lighthouse at Gilbert's cove and also visited Savary Park (both very close to the cottage). Each day was wonderful starting with relaxing mornings and ended with amazing peaceful evenings back at the cottage. We had an amazing week. I would definitely go back! The host/owner Justine was very friendly and very quick to get back to us. On top of all that...our puppy had an amazing week too!
