Welcome to Bay Shore Lake House. STA license #NBP-2022-68 If you are looking for a quiet, private cottage away from it all, then sit back and relax on the serene shores of Lake Huron in this beautiful cottage. This 3000 sq' lakefront gem is located on an extremely private acreage, just minutes from downtown Tobermory. The water is crystal clear and the shore consists of flat rock, making water entry easy. New owners, Jeff and Tracy, have recently renovated? new kitchen and new bathrooms! (Spring 2022) this 5 bedroom, 3 bathroom cottage. Bring your boat and launch it off our own private boat launch and set sail down Baptist Harbour, into the open waters of Lake Huron. Bay Shore Lake House comfortably sleeps 13 people and boasts a wrap around porch on 2 levels. This spacious 5 bedroom home has the ability to host multiple families. The dining area off the living room offers a beautiful handcrafted 9 foot table for everyone to sit and enjoy a meal together. 4 of the 5 bedrooms have their own private patio door, opening onto the deck overlooking the harbour. The cottage comes equipped with 4 smart tv's featuring Netflix, a slate pool table and unlimited access to WIFI. Venture outdoors on the canoes and paddleboard, play a friendly game of beach volleyball on the full-size court, sit and enjoy a meal at the bar height dining table, lounge on the patio furniture, then relax at night by a campfire overlooking the water. | Spent a week beginning of July this year at the Lakehouse. The location is very tranquil. The only noise was from a new construction down the bay during the day. Water was brisk but wasn't so cold that you couldn't stay in as long as you wanted. Bugs weren't much of an issue as there is a consistent breeze. The deck area is a great area to spend the day, lots of space for everyone to spread out. The inside is spacious and flows well. House stays comfortable even without AC.
Some aspects could be improved on. Overall maintenance is a bit lacking. Many of the screens on windows and doors were torn, so you couldn't open to let the breeze in. Pool table had broken pockets, so balls would fall out and hit the floor. We had to clean out the BBQ because a grease fire started when we tried to use it the first time. A thorough cleaning would help. Lots of spiderwebs on the windows inside and out. The kitchen could use some more accessories for preparing meals, but had enough to get by.
We had animal visitors in the night that were able to get into the garbage storage and made a mess, so I wouldn't leave anything outside unless changes have been made.
Overall our experience was a good one, and would recommend this spot for larger groups.

| Beautiful cottage. Equipped with everything we needed to have a wonderful time. Water was chilly this time of year but plenty to do on the property to keep us entertained. Volleyball net, pool table inside and we deffinately made use of the canoes and kayaks. The property owners were lovely and replied quickly to make the process easy as possible. Any concerns/questions were addressed quickly. Deffinately recommend .

| Our family of 13 spent the last week of our summer at the Bay Shore Lake House in Tobermory, and I cannot begin to tell you how amazing it was. The cottage was well beyond our expectations. It was beautiful - spacious, comfortable and very very clean. The beds especially were super comfy! The cottage location was superb and there was so much to do. After days of swimming, hiking, fishing, canoeing, and volleyball, we'd gather our kids to the lovely outdoor dining area for "happy hour" where we'd share cocktails and appetizers. The nighttime campfires were a definite highlight. Even on a rainy day there was enough to do inside to keep us happy. And we were super impressed with our hosts. Any time we had a question about anything, they were incredibly responsive. Emails and text messages were answered immediately. I'd highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking to have a fabulous family vacation. For our family, wonderful memories were made at the Bay Shore Lake House, and we will definitely be booking again!
