Welcome to Twin Vines in the heart of Essex County wine country! This pristine lake house offers floor to ceiling windows in an open concept design with a gas fire place, stainless steel appliances and spacious breakfast bar and dining area to accommodate larger group meals and celebrations. The master bedroom offers a stunning view of the water and sitting area adjacent to an ensuite bath and walk-in closet. The second and third bedrooms are beautifully decorated with comfortable, well appointed furnishings. Laundry facilities with a large amount of storage space makes staying organized a breeze. Twin Vines is ~ 1800 square feet of accommodation situated on a large lot with mature trees. The location is close to varied activities while being secluded enough to provide privacy for the ultimate experience in relaxation. Forty-five minute drive to Windsor and Detroit, Michigan. Less than 4 km to the beach, marina, park/ splash pad, fishing and golf courses. Steps to enjoy a refreshing swim in beautiful Lake Erie. A short walk to the John R Park Homestead where the 1850's come to life.
In July and August, upon arrival, enjoy a welcome basket of local produce to introduce you to the abundant fresh fruit and vegetables available nearby.
Ready to relax? Sit on the large, fully furnished, covered, outdoor patio to read a book, play a board game or do a puzzle; watch the lake while sharing space with varied species of birds. Bring your fishing tackle to secure your fresh catch of the day and grill it on the gas BBQ provided.
Enjoy bird watching? Visit a bird watcher's paradise by taking a 10 minute drive to the Holiday Beach Conservation Area to enjoy spectacular views of Lake Erie. Experience the Hawk Tower, participate in scheduled special events and see warblers, herons, hawks, owls and more.
Great news for our 2023 season, a bald eagle pair is once again nesting 1 km from the Twin Vines property, making bald eagle sightings a regular experience

| We absolutely love this Lake House! This is a great find! Beautiful view, nicely decorated, fantastic kitchen & open space on main floor. My husband & I are here with our son & two grandkids aged 4 & 9. There is so much room plus there is a wonderful lake view. Colchester Beach is close by. Small beach with a splash pad & playground.
The owners are incredibly accommodating. They are close by & ready to handle questions or requests.
Internet is spotty, often unavailable but it gave me a chance to disconnect, which I've done so far!

| We had a great time with family at this beautiful open concept cottage . The view of the water from the A frame home windows were spectacular . It was so relaxing to spend the week with family . Very quiet neighborhood. Owners were great to contact and assist with any needs we had . Hope to be back again !

| Rented this cottage for a girls weekend celebration. It was beautiful, more then we expected, we could have stayed there for longer. The cottage had everything for a relaxing adventure and the surrounding area was so nice, very peaceful. We couldn't have asked for anything more!

| A lovely, open concept design. Well stocked kitchen. Right on the lake with excellent neighbours. Plenty of space indoors and outdoors for activities and comforts. Beds are comfortable. Two towns within a short distance. Plenty of wineries/distilleries close by. Beth and Greg are excellent and available hosts who live close by. This cottage exceeded our expectations so much, that we have booked again for next year...and for two weeks!! Thank you for sharing your cottage and allowing us a great family vacation. Jeff & Tracey
