Enjoy this recently renovated cottage just steps away from Grandview Lake. Take in beautiful sunsets from the dock, or from inside the Muskoka Room which runs nearly the entire lakeside of the cottage. On warm summer days and evenings the windows can be raised into the ceiling to turn the Muskoka Room into a screened in family gathering place for dinners, games, reading or just watching the sun disappear over the horizon while listening to the loons on the lake. A perfect way to end your day. The cottage boasts a flat property, great for outdoor games like bocci, volleyball or croquet. The hardpacked sand beach is perfect for kids to play on and makes for easy entry into the lake. The 180 foot waterfront offers very good privacy from the neighbouring cottages. For the fisherman, there is deep water to the side of the beach, which is a favoured fishing hole for many on the lake. Grandview lake is a spring fed lake, and the water is crystal clear. You can see 20 feet deep into the lake, and every summer the sun warms it up to beautiful swimming temperatures. The cottage has a canoe, 2 kayaks and 2 paddleboats to help you enjoy this lake even more. 3Plus 1 bedrooms- master bedroom with queen bed overlooking the lake, one room with a double bed, one room with a single/ double bunkbed and finally the "frog room" with single bunkbeds perfect for kids to relax. The bedrooms sleep 8 comfortably. We do not provide any bed linens or pillows.
In the heart of the cottage is a well appointed kitchen to create your cottage meals, including coffee machine (filters provided), microwave, BBQ and supply of propane. Kitchen's central location means you can still be part of all the cottage fun and memories while whipping up tasty cottage meals.
There are lots of board games and a smart TV with a DVD player plus some DVDs for those rainy days, even a VCR with some old school tapes. See if your kids even know what to do with those. "what do you mean rewind???" We also have a cottage library with selection of books to keep you company on those quiet moments. Don't worry if you don't finish the book before you leave, feel free to take it home to finish. Not a problem.
Only 5 minutes into Baysville with its cute stores and Lake of Bays Brewery. Stop in at Baysville Farmers Market on Friday afternoons to pick up some fresh veggies or tasty local snacks. Dorset is only 10 minutes away where you can climb the fire tower for a panoramic view of Lake of Bays or stop in at the world famous Robinsons General Store. Bracebridge, Huntsville, Algonquin Park, Leslie Frost Centre and lots of golf courses within are within a 30 minute drive.
We have WIFI service at the cottage. Cell service is good for both Bell and Rogers.
Main renter must be minimum 25 years old.
Please bring your all own bed linens, towels (kitchen, beach and bathroom), spices.

| This was my second time visiting Grandview Lake. The first time was as a family of 7. We had such a great time that when my bestie and I were looking for a few days away I suggested coming here. We both loved our time away. The lake is warm and relaxing. We really enjoyed floating in lake and reading on the dock. The cottage is big enough for a family, or a couple. The kitchen was well stocked with everthing we needed, the beds were comfortable and the views are amazing. On cooler days we enjoyed sitting in the screened porch listening to music and reading or playing cards at the huge dining table. Nathalie was great to work with and her communication was fast. Before we left we were already planning our trip back to Grandview Lake.

| Was very fortunate to spend time here this month and WOW, what a great find Grandview Lake is. Firstly, Nathalie is wonderful to deal with and her communication is impecable. Arrival was a breeze and was amazed at what we found, beautifully updated with everything you would ever want, yet still maintaining it's rustic charm. Meals in the Muskoka room were definetly a highlight, as well as the best sunsets ever thanks to it's perfect westerly view. A slight concern was traffic noise being on #117, but we never heard any traffic day or night, always peaceful. Except for the pair of loons that visit often, they are quite vocal. A huge plus to this cottage is location, all the Muskoka highlights within 30 minutes and Algonquin Park less than an hour. Departure was easy and the deposit was returned very promptly. Thanks so much Natalie for hosting the perfect vacation, hope to return in the future.

| We booked a week and stayed at the Grandview Lake. The cottage is clean, tidy and updated. We loved to sit around and relax at the screen-in porch to enjoy the sunset. They are pretty cool contraptions. The kitchen is well equipped for making meals. Internet reception is excellent. Of course, the outdoor fun is endless: water sports, campfire and gazing at the stars . The Grandview Lake is a decent size lake, clear water and not too busy, perfect for kayaking and canoeing.
The newby restaurants in Baysville & Dorset are great.
Natalie is very responsive and helpful. Thank you for letting us stay at your cottage. We had a wonderful time and hope to go back again.

| A wonderful place to unwind! Very comfortable and the Muskoka room is an amazing spot for a nap! Steps from the door to the waters edge which is shallow for about 20 feet and crystal clear. We enjoyed this cottage and location so much we have already reserved our spot for 2024 only longer this time! Thank you so much Nathalie for sharing your lovely cottage Robin and Wesley

| This is a nice, bright cottage with a lovely screened in porch with a great view of the long private frontage. The entrance to the lake is shallow for the first 15' or so which is nice for younger children and then deepens rapidly which is good for swimmers and boaters. The lake is a nice size and fairly quiet, and provides an excellent outing using the provided canoe, paddle boat or kayak The kitchen is well stocked, the rooms are cozy and the beds are comfortable. A good sized dining room table sits 8, and the living room is fairly spacious. The owners have a cottage next door which they frequent and are readily available to answer questions.
A great spot for a family retreat at a reasonable price.
