Some cottages just open their doors and say "come on in, relax, and play". When we toured this cottage, we thought a perfect name would be "Stay and Play" This cottage emphatically checks both of those boxes. A Muskoka location, great waterfront, plenty of space for a large family and everything you need for fun!
Inside, you'll find a spacious two levels of relaxation, functionality and fun plus a bonus loft with a great view. The main level features the kitchen, dining and living areas, accented with a double height set of windows that will captivate you for the entire week with views of the lake. Two bedrooms and a 3-piece bathroom round out this level. Downstairs on the lower level is where this property shines even more. A third bedroom on this level has two twin bunk beds - so cousins, siblings or friends can rehash the days adventures while planning more the next day. You may have to make sure the kids aren't sneaking up late to play pool shuffleboard, bubble hockey or foosball though, as this level is constructed to keep kids of all ages occupied for days on end.
While the teens and young adults may want to sleep on the lower level, the very young will be delighted to find that they have their own child-sized sleeping cubbies on either side of the loft.
Outside, the lake and waterfront beckons. There is a lovely patio outside the cottage, complete with propane BBQ AND a propane pizza oven (there is also a wood burning pizza oven) - so while you'll enjoy a burger or steak here, bring along your pizz-attitude as well! The dock and swimming platform as well as a beachfront cabana building are here for you to enjoy, and excursions on the lake are made easy with a nice selection of watercraft. And of course, you did see something about a hot tub somewhere, didn't you! Yes, there is one of those here as well, perfect for capping off a day of activity to relax the body and mind.
Located on Healey Lake just east of Bracebridge, the cottage is well situated to explore the area. The town of Bracebridge has everything you need for shopping, with the quaint downtown area offering cafes, bookstores and clothing shops in a picturesque river setting - and if you have little ones, you'll want to take them to see Santa at his summer residence at Santa's Village. A little further north is Huntsville, with its theatre and more shopping. Gravenhurst lies about the same distance to the south, and boasts a commercial wharf as well the Gravenhurst Opera House. No matter where you explore, the drive to get there will be as scenic and enjoyable as wherever you choose to go.

This cottage is located in the municipality of the Town of Bracebridge. The Municipality requires rental guests sign a Rental Guest Code of Conduct. It will be sent to you upon booking for electronic signature
Waterfront is a Northeastern exposure
Linens and towels provided - please bring your own beach towels
This cottage is on Healey Lake near Bracebridge. PLEASE NOTE that this is not the larger Healey lake that is located near Mactier.
There is no public boat launch on the lake; however smaller boats can be launched on site
Dogs are permitted at this cottage
A post-rental cleaning service is included for all rentals; however, the cottage is to be left in a tidy condition
Waterfront
The waterfront is private with a sand beach and sand bottom that gradually deepens. The swim platform is a short swim off shore.
