Island Cabin Lake of the Woods

This is a simple one story two bedroom cabin on a very private three acre island surrounded by one of the finer parts of beautiful Lake of the Woods. It's powered by solar and a small generator when needed. Nine miles south of Kenora, makes it secluded, yet close to town. Yes sadly, there is cell service! We offer a pet friendly, family styled getaway for those who appreciate and are capable of living off the grid. We supply everything except your food, beverages, drinking water and fishing gear.
There is a screened in porch, small landing with BBQ, and an L shaped dock with good water. Canoe, paddleboat and kayak are provided to allow for exploration. There is a propane burner, wood stove and cold water sink in the kitchen area, bathroom has shower and composting toilet and the fridge/freezer is located in the screened in deck area.

This island is boat access only - that's the island part - so you will require transportation for your safety and enjoyment in the form of your own boat.
