Please note MAX 4 Adults plus children under 11. June 29-July 27 weekly rentals Saturday to Saturday. Come and unwind on a private peninsula with water surrounding you on 3 sides. Peaceful peninsula is the perfect private, tranquil getaway. A place for mind, body and soul to find rest. NEW! CEDAR BARREL SAUNA with panoramic views, hot tub, seasonal outdoor shower, wood stove, 2 outdoor fire pits and a day bed in the gazebo all provide ample opportunities for relaxation. We have lovingly renovated every room in the 2 bedroom cottage, bunkie and games room complete with large screen tv, Nintendo Switch, ping pong and darts. We provide everything for a wonderful stay:firewood, linens, towels and and a well stocked kitchen with spices, oil, sugar, Nespresso machine with pods, and pluck tea. Our cottage began as two fishermen's cabins in 1905. Anglers from the USA and Canada came to fish the plentiful waters of Smith's Bay. Over the years new owners merged the two small cabins into one larger cottage and then in October 2018 we purchased and completely renovated what we now call Peaceful Peninsula. Extravagantly large windows in the living room allow you to take in 270 degree water views. The spacious deck feels as though you are floating on the bay. Swans and ducks swim right by. The primary bedroom has a dreamy king sized bed where you can take in the amazing sunrises without lifting your head from your pillow. The hot tub, sauna and outdoor shower are all steps away from the primary, making peaceful peninsula the perfect honeymoon destination or couples retreat. Summer guests will enjoy the long days, warm calm waters, awesome sunrises and sunsets and so much wildlife. Fall guests will enjoy seeing the migrating ducks return to Smith's bay in vast numbers. Last fall there were regularly flocks of 1000 Redheads, Mallards, Goldeneyes, Buffleheads, etc. You will also enjoy the flames flickering in the woodstove, or if you like turn on the radiant in-floor heating installed throughout each room of the cottage! Winter guests will enjoy the quiet beauty of snowfall on the bay with spectacular views. We provide a SUP, 2 kayaks, a canoe, and lifejackets for you to enjoy the beauty of the bay! The fishing is amazing. Don't forget to pack a fishing rod and let the kids catch fish right off the dock.

| Peaceful peninsula is the perfect getaway. The views and accommodations are one of a kind. It rained for our whole weekend, which left us feeling very cozy and romantic. The sounds of the rain on the roof while reading next to the fire was the perfect getaway from the rush of modern living. 10/10 will use again.

| Such a beautiful cottage. I don't even know where to begin! The cottage is very well kept and clean, and the owners are so nice. The location is absolutely wonderful, right on the water with an amazing view over the lake. Which you can enjoy from the sunroom, or the Sauna which is only steps from the bedroom. Not to mention the hot tub that is right outside as well! Talk about a relaxing get away! The cottage has an incredible games room with lots of activities; darts, ping pong, board games and even a Nintendo switch which was fun!
The Nespresso machine was a nice surprise as well, for those who appreciate coffee while watching the sun rise.
Nothing but great things to say, would definitely recommend this cottage!

| We have never stayed in such a lovely cottage. The cottage was welcoming and spotless. The views of the water and the sunrises and sunsets make this place feel restful and peace-filled. The decor is minimal and there is an openness and overall clean feeling. We took advantage of the swimming, canoeing and kayaking as well as playing an outdoor game that was there. We enjoyed watching the waterfowl and a few other birds. We could have cooked all of our meals, but we took advantage of the restaurants in nearby Picton. We hope to stay at this cottage in the near future. Although we did not see our hosts during our stay, we appreciate all they did to make this a memorial few days.

| Our family spent a week in July that was absolutely wonderful. It was almost like being at a resort except there are no crowds and you have to prepare your own food. Rachel and Ken have put so much thought and effort into outfitting the cottage with practically everything we might need and they were so attentive to ensuring we weren't wanting for anything once we'd arrived. I can't thank them enough for sharing this oasis with us even if just for a week. We'll definitely be back.
