This beautiful brand new cottage is situated on Black Donald Lake near Calabogie with 200 feet of flat shoreline and stunning views. It features a huge front deck complete with glass railings, a lounge couch, and patio table. The large dock is the perfect place to relax, fish, go for a swim and enjoy the stunning sunsets. The property is largely flat allowing easy access to the water for both young and old. Built in 2020, this 3 bedroom cottage cottage sleeps 6 people comfortably, has a large open family room overlooking the waterfront, and an open concept kitchen and dining areas. The bathroom has double sinks, glass shower stall and separate bath tub. Black Donald lake is a large, clean lake great for swimming, fishing, boating and watersports. Included with your stay are a barbeque with propane, kayaks, life jackets, board games, large flat screen, washer, dryer, dishwasher, television, unlimited internet access with Netflix, and a fire pit with firewood. One bedroom has a queen bed, one bedroom has a bunk bed with a single on top and double on the bottom, and the third has another queen bed with amazing lake views. The living room has a vaulted ceiling, a propane fireplace with a 100 year old mantle, a large flat screen TV, comfortable seating, and a wall of windows to enjoy the beautiful waterfront. The fully equipped kitchen has an island with bar seating along with four stainless steel appliances. The dining room has a harvest table with bench seating, chairs and an oversized patio door that walks out onto the deck and barbeque area. This stunning lakeside getaway is located just over an hour from Ottawa, and just 10 minutes down the road from Calabogie Peaks Ski Hill, Calabogie Highlands Golf Course, restaurants and hiking trails.

| We rented this cottage for a long weekend of skiing at Calabogie Peaks and the Madawaska Nordic trails. The house is about a 15 minute drive from the hill on very well maintained roads so we had no issues with our FWD cars getting in and out. We were also able to trickle charge our EV which was a nice bonus. The house itself is lovely - very clean and well equipped. The house guide was very clear about what was provided and so made it easy to know what we needed to bring with us. The owner was also very responsive to our questions. In addition to the internet/Netflix, there were several board games on site we made good use of too. We had a great time and would recommend this cottage for a winter holiday.

| Black Donald Retreat was a wonderful experience! The cottage, or should I say, beautiful brand new house, is set directly on Black Donald Lake. The house is sparkling clean and has all the amenities you need. A true get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. I would recommend Black Donald Retreat 100% and hope to return next year.

| My wife and I had a fantastic time at Black Donald Retreat. It was a beautiful cottage in a wonderful setting. The cottage was extremely clean, and everything was like "new". Lots of activities nearby (hiking, biking, golfing) in addition to "hanging" out on the dock and swimming. A wonderful week away from the city.

| WONDERFUL! The cottage is new, fresh, and included everything you could possibly need (including a quality TV and appliances, wifi, and 3 kayaks! The lake is excellent for paddle sports. The hosts were responsive and delightful. BONUS... there is a network of hiking trails directly behind the cottage that was created and is managed by a private group... I went trail running every day!

| The cottage has everything you need to enjoy a wonderful vacation. It's practically brand new. Has a great layout, good size bedrooms, comfortable beds in two of the rooms for adults, 3rd room better suited for teens or children, great family room, dining room and a modern kitchen all with spectacular views of the water. Large deck with comfortable seating with same great view. Very adequate docking for an 18ft boat although I understand owner is adding a new dock to it. Lake was beautiful, very large and very clean. Great for boating. Enjoyed the sunsets and campfire. Nice TV with good internet and we even had good cell service. Owner is very nice and also very responsive.
