Welcome to Wentworth Lakeside Chalet, our spacious, year-round lakefront getaway on beautiful Mattatall Lake in Wentworth, Nova Scotia. Perfect for families, friends and group getaways, our three-level waterfront chalet offers plenty of room to relax, reconnect and enjoy everything the Wentworth Valley has to offer. Located directly on Mattatall Lake and approximately 15 minutes from Ski/ Bike Wentworth, the chalet is an ideal home base for swimming and paddling in summer, colourful fall adventures and ATVing, skiing and snowmobiling in winter, or simply escaping to the lake for a quiet weekend away.
THE CHALET
The main level features a large open-concept kitchen, dining and living area with vaulted ceilings, warm wood accents and beautiful views overlooking the lake.
The spacious, fully equipped kitchen has plenty of cookware, dishes and room to prepare meals for a larger group, while the adjoining dining and living areas make it easy for everyone to gather together.
With three full bathrooms — one on each level — the chalet is especially comfortable for families and groups travelling together.
SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS
The chalet accommodates up to 10 guests across four sleeping areas:
• Top-floor primary bedroom: Queen bed, lake views and large ensuite bathroom with jacuzzi tub
• Top-floor second bedroom: Two double beds with access to an ensuite bathroom
• Lower-level sleeping area: Queen bed with nearby full bathroom and walk-in shower
• Lower-level bunk area: One double bed and two single beds
Please note: The lower level is an open-concept walkout basement. The two sleeping areas have good visual separation but are semi-private and do not have doors separating them. This layout works especially well for families, children and groups comfortable sharing the lower level.
LAKEFRONT & OUTDOOR LIVING
Guests have access to the entire property, including the private lakefront and dock.
Spend summer days swimming from the dock, relaxing beside the water, paddling the lake or fishing. A paddleboard, fishing kayak and floating swim rafts are available seasonally, and a canoe is available upon request.
Outside you'll also find a fire pit overlooking the lake and a large Blackstone flat-top grill — perfect for relaxed cottage meals and evenings outdoors.
Outdoor fires are permitted only when Nova Scotia fire restrictions allow.
YEAR-ROUND WENTWORTH GETAWAY

Dogs are welcome at Wentworth Lakeside Chalet. Please include pets when making your reservation and clean up after them while enjoying the property.
GOOD TO KNOW
The chalet is located on a well-maintained dirt road. During winter, changing weather can affect road conditions — winter tires are strongly recommended.
Being surrounded by nature also means you may spot deer, loons, beavers, otters, foxes, raccoons, squirrels and many species of birds during your stay.

Seasonal lake amenities include a private dock, paddleboard, fishing kayak, floating swim rafts and life jackets. Outdoor fires are permitted only when NS Burn Safe conditions allow.
