| This was a great getaway for our family and friends! We enjoyed watching the meteor shower while sitting around the campfire. We also enjoyed the many indoor and outdoor games and activities provided. As a host, Shawn was great. He was super fast to answer any questions we had. The place was clean with lots supplies. There were also plenty of outings to explore nearby (the lazy river in Buckhorn was a favourite). While the lake was a little weedy, the kids enjoyed fishing, boating, paddle boarding and swimming!

| Our family recently spent a great week enjoying this cottage on Chemong Lake. The cottage is beautifully appointed, exceptionally clean and the owner's attention to detail is evident. We visited with a family of 7 and there was more than enough room for all. We all had lots of fun playing pingpong, foozball, video games, etc. in the large family room on the ground floor level. Although the cottage is near neighbours, the way the property it is situated allows for good privacy. We spent enjoyable mornings with our coffee watching the sun rise on the dock listening to the loons and relaxing evenings around a campfire watching the stars. The only reason I did not give this cottage an excellent review was because the lake is quite weedy, but I have to say that the owner has managed to remove the weeds in front of the cottage and dock so that swimming around the dock is not an issue. That being said the lake is great for boating and the cottage provides kayaks, a paddle boat and a row boat. We also rented a paddle board from a store in Lakefield (10 min. away), which was lots of fun. Shawn was a great host and was available to answer any questions. We would gladly rent this cottage again.

| My family and I had a wonderful weekend stay at Shawn's cottage, the pictures don't do it justice! The cottage is clean, spacious, new, and fully stocked with everything you may need. The view from the living room area is beautiful. Shawn is extremely responsive and made sure my family and I had a comfortable stay. We will definitely be back!

| What a magical two-week stay we had! Truly a relaxing getaway with many fun activities. We were 8 people (two families with four kids ages 2-8). All the kids had a blast sleeping in the HUGE downstairs bedroom with four queen beds. Plenty of space for everyone! House is beautiful, airy and open with stunning views through the grand windows. Kitchen is well stocked with high quality cookware, cottage was pristine, and we really felt at home. The owner Shawn is very friendly and was quick to answer any questions we had. We took advantage of the kayaks and rowboat, games, pink pong, fuse ball, X-box, Harry Potter books and spent hours in the water. Big green space was perfect for throwing around a football and lounging. The shallow beach entry was great for the little one and the bigger kids spent hours swimming under the dock. We rented a boat and it was easy to dock (just be mindful of the weeds!) We boated to nearby Buckhorn and had a patio lunch on the lake. Lakefield is a very cute town with some patio restaurants. Also, grocery shopping, costco etc closeby. We would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone! Thank you Shawn for a memorable stay!
