This beautiful cottages is exactly what you are looking for to relax, unwind and perfect for family gatherings. Away from the crowd, Relish in the stunning sunsets on the docks , breathe in the crisp air by the outdoor fire-pit or get lost in a good book on the deck facing the lake. Retreat your body and soul here. The lake is refreshing on those hot days, Cecebe Retreat Cottage will quickly become your new happy place. This property located on an around 1.5 acres lot with over 400 feet shoreline. It comes with a 2400 sq ft main cottage (3 queen size bedrooms+1 bunk bedroom +2 living rooms +1 kitchen +2 full bathrooms) and 1 cabin (2 double size bed+1kitchen+1 bathroom with shower).6 parking lot is available. You will have your own private dock and water front,picnic table and bonfire area ,2 sets of patio furnitures and 2 BBQ. Only the main cottage is year around access, the cabin are only opened from the second weekend of May to the 3rd weekend of October every year. The main cottage is comfortably for maximum 8 persons. The cabin is comfortably for maximum 4 persons. We have the other property with a 2-bedroom and 1 full bath room and kitchen small cottage, you could rent the main cottage and 2 cabins if you have more than 12 and lees than 16 people with different price. For the main cottage and one cabin, the rent is $4500 per week during high season, the cleaning fee and garbage fee is $300, pet fee $50. This main cottage rents for $380 per night on weekdays and $580 per night on weekends & holidays from September through June (2 night minimum.... 3 night minimum if on a long weekend.)
Saturday to Saturday rental only during high season ,the main house plus 2 cabins combo during July and August is $5900 per week (tax included),maximum 16 persons.
Each cabin rents $180 ( 2 bedrooms +1 bathroom+1 shower room+1 kitchen ) per night during weekdays and $300 per night during weekends and holidays in May, June ,September and October.(Each cabin maximum 4 people)
During winter season( after Thanksgiving long weekend and before Victoria Day of next year),only the main cottage is available (maximum 8 people)
If you only want to rent the main cottage or only the cabin during slow season, that is no problem, just email us for the rate.
Our cottage just beside HWY 520,14km drive to HWY 11. About 2.5 hours from Toronto Pearson International Airport.
The closest town of Magnetawan is approximately 6 mins drive . The other town Burk's Falls is approximately 15km. Pop.1000, In town amenities include a Valumart grocery store, LCBO, Tim Hortons, beer store, restaurants with patios, bowling alley & billiards club, bars, cafes & some boutique shops to browse a farmer market on weekends during summer season ,there is a tourism information office for all your inquire etc.
Boating into Magnetawan and Ahmic Harbour where you will find grocery stores, Ice Cream store, restaurants, coffee shops and anything else that you may need. 40 miles waterways for boating, kayaking, canoeing on the lakes, Your boat can be launched from next door Port Carmen Marina. You could buy organic eggs and meats from a local farm nearby( walking distance ).
Summer Activities (we provide 7 Kayaks, 3 Canoes, 2 floating mat , 1 stand-up paddle-board. 2 peddle boats and 2 cornhole boards available for 3 cottages' guests)

NOTE:
**Vacationer supplies their own linens: Sheets and pillowcases + Inside towels, kitchen towels and beach towels.
We provide duvets , blankets and pillows. Please inquire about other arrangements.
**Paper products: The cottage will provide enough to get you started, but vacationers must supply their own, including toilet paper and kitchen paper towels etc.
**Adult life jackets provided on demand. Vacationers must bring their own children's life jackets due to safety and liability concerns.
The water is drinkable from the well.
Bring your own firewood please.

Email transfer 40% down payment of the rent when making reservation. Email transfer the balance one month ahead of arrival including the refundable damage deposit fee $500 which will be refunded within 48 hours after checkout. We will send you a confirmation email once we receive the fees from you with an attachment of the bank transaction information . It will be automatically deposited.
We block the days you reserve once we receive the down payment.

I have a very active and happy family, I had served Canada Army for 30 years and have retired from military couple years ago, my wife Rachel and kids enjoy cottage lifestyle very much. We fell in love with Lake Cecebe instantly when we first visited in summer 2019. The lake is perfect for any family to spend quality time with their loved ones. We are dedicated to provide you with the excellent experience in our cottage.
Rachel is a registered massage therapist and registered acupuncturist who has over 19 year rich experience with Traditional Chinese Medicine background. She works at Impact Healthcare and MyoDynamic Health in Barrie for many years. She provides all kind of massage techniques such as Swedish relaxation massage, Therapeutic massage,Deep tissue Massage, Trigger Point Massage, Lymphatic drainage massage,Hot stone massage, Myofascial release massage,Prenatal massage(side-lying), Cupping therapy, Gua Sha therapy, Acupuncture etc.

| Beautiful cottage, quiet area, very clean, outside area was wonderful, The cottage is well equipped with everything. The kitchen has ample dishes, and everything needed for cooking meals.
We all enjoyed the week, paddleboard, kayaking, and just relaxing on the dock! Fishing is good on Lake Cecebe and my husband caught a good size crepe on the dock. We all enjoyed our vacation here.
Luke and Rachel are excellent hosts and made sure we had everything we needed and more. We would recommend this cottage to everybody looking for a fantastic cottage holiday/vacation.

| We spent Thanksgiving weekend at this wonderful retreat. We hosted 17 people in the cottage and cabins. Although the weather was not good, it did not dampen our spirits. The facility is well equiped with watercraft and games. The cottage, likewise is well equiped for preparing meals and has lots of room to accomodate a number of people in one place. Our hosts; Rachel and Luc were so gracious and helpful. If you rent this place, you will not be disappointed.

| Beautiful cottage, quiet area, loved that it was so close to the town / grocery store!!
The dining room table fit the whole family (9 people), a lot of chairs outside, morning coffee on the dock, deck was so nice to enjoy afternoon lunch was a very relaxing place!
Very clean, outside area was wonderful, we didn't get beautiful weather and still really enjoyed our trip! Lots of things to do
Owner were very nice, quick to respond!
Only thing was the owner did hang around the property for a majority of our stay which was a little uncomfortable!
Overall we really loved our vacation and the property

| We spent another lovely week at Cecebe Retreat this year. We bring all our family and, 3 grandchildren. We all enjoyed the week, swimming, paddleboard, kayaking, canoeing and just relaxing on the dock! We were lucky enough to be able to have a fire every evening and s'mores were a big hit. Luke and Rachel are excellent hosts and made sure we had everything we needed and more. Fishing is good on Lake Cecebe and my son in law caught a good size fish while out in his boat. The cottage is well equipped with everything. The kitchen has ample dishes, and everything needed for cooking meals. Thanks to Luke and Rachel for allowing us to stay for the second year in a row. Our dogs enjoyed their stay as well! We would recommend this cottage to everybody looking for a fantastic cottage holiday.

Everything was as promised, clean, comfortable, and felt like home.
The property is super family & kid-friendly which was great for kids.
