This gorgeous Cape Cod style home is available to rent as a private space for the BASE RATE shown or it can be rented at a discounted rate as Shared Accommodation; you choose which one you want. The house is located a 10-12 minute walk (800 m) from beautiful Crystal Beach (Bay Beach). Only 1 week a month is available to rent so please inquire quickly in order to secure your dates. You can rent as few as 3 nights up to a maximum of 6 nights for each of the months of May, June, July, August and September. *I will make exceptions on Min. and Max. night stays depending on how fast the calendar fills up. The BASE RATE includes rental of the main and 2nd floor of the house with an open concept bedroom in the 2nd floor loft with private ensuite bathroom, 2 queen beds in the same room, for up to 4 guests, including at least 1 adult 29 years of age or older. Children 8 years of age and up are welcome. The house is not baby proof so children under 8 cannot be accommodated. Guests will have access to the fully equipped Kitchen with dishes, glassware, pots and pans, toaster, blender, drip coffee maker with filters, microwave and immaculate appliances. Basics include salt, pepper, white sugar, some dry herbs and herbal teas and guests are free to help themselves to the fresh garden herbs and fresh mint. , Enjoy the Living/ Dining with Cathedral ceiling and gas fireplace or the beautifully landscaped yard with gas barbecue, outdoor dining table, hammock and lounge chairs. The house is a divided duplex meaning there is a full time mature, very quite tenant in the lower level of the house that has no access to the space you would be renting. The lower unit apt. is only accessible from the stairwell that is located outside of the house.
If you want to rent the property as Shared Accommodation, then you will pay less than the Base Rate shown but the owner will remain the house. (See Shared Accommodation Rates per night) The owner is a mature College Professor that has a private locked area with private bath on the main floor and is only at the property part time.
The owner has been hosting on popular rental sites for over 25 years and has always maintained Super Host status and 5 Star reviews across the board.
Nestled on a quite laneway in Crystal Beach Fort Erie (Niagara) and surrounded by mature trees and new landscaping stands this historical beauty. This property is a newer build, so although it reflects historical design details, the newer construction guarantees a very clean, mildew and mould free, air conditioned property.
Only registered guests are allowed in the house and on the property due to insurance regulations. Please inquire about details. Parking is available for one vehicle only at all times in a designated space.
There is a Laundry room on the Main Floor as well for a basic convenience we all expect.
The 2nd Floor Loft is one main room that sleeps up to 4 Guests on 2 Queen beds with new Premium super comfortable mattresses, linens and pillows. An ensuite full bathroom has a tub/shower combination and the Loft has a small makeup/computer desk. A walk-in closet provides great storage space for luggage and clothes. A flat screen TV is equipped with Prime Video so you can enjoy your favourite movies before retiring for the evening.
Beach chairs, beach umbrella, beach towels, cooler and wagon are available to Guests.
Your booking comes with free beach passes and will save each Guest $5 /day/guest during the week and $10/day/guest on weekends. These Beach Passes offer unlimited use during your stay however Loss of a Beach Pass is subject to a $100 replacement fee for each pass lost.
Crystal Beach, known for it's shallow, warm, crystal clear water has undergone a huge transformation over the past 5 years. There is a new 4 million dollar beach entrance with new washrooms, change rooms, showers, and kids playground. Excellent new restaurants have opened and new market shops as well. The Beach is extremely wide and clean with soft, deep, white sand and is the most popular beach destination in all of Southern Ontario. Your entrance to the beach is at the base of Ashwood Avenue and (800 m) from the front door of the house.
The entire property is immaculate so your Host is therefore looking for mature adults (29 yrs.plus) and families with children approx. 8 years of age and older.
Guests will be required to sign a Lease Agreement prior to booking acceptance. The price per night is inclusive of all taxes, utilities including wireless internet, all bedding and towels, A/C and parking for 1 vehicle. A 25% deposit of the total booking amount, plus the cleaning and property fees, and security/cancellation deposit must be paid upfront in order to secure the booking on a first come first serve basis. The remaining 75% is due 90 days prior to check-in.Bookings can be secured by a direct e-transfer deposit or by certified cheque mailed, couriered or delivered to the Host. Please be advised that this is a Smoke/Marijuana/Vape Free Property inside and out and without exception. There is also no cleaning of vaping apparatus inside the house. This is also a Pet Free property and that includes service dogs as the owner has an exemption from the province due to serious allergies. The maximum number of guests on the property is 4 and restricted by new Town by-laws and Guests that break this by-law will be subject to a $1500 fine from the Town of Fort Erie.
