Our cottage is located between the boat launch and the beach. A seven minute walk to the sandy beach and one of the most beautiful sunsets in the world.

As well as being located so close to the beach and boat launch, Port Franks area also offers many day trip options. We have golf courses and flea markets, Grand bend Beach is only a 20 minute short drive as well as The Pinery Provincial Park is even closer.

Our clean and comfortable cottage is located across the street from lake front. You can sit on the deck and watch the lake or listen while you relax in the sun. In the evening, retreat to the backyard for a private bonfire, you will feel like you rented a cottage in the woods. The night sky is fantastic for stargazing.

The lower level offers two more bedrooms. Both bedrooms have two sets of bunk beds.

You may have dreamed of an amazing holiday with family or friends.
We are asking $1700 for the week.

Bring your own bedding and towels, food, spices and other necessities as you would if you were camping.
We rent by the week Friday - Friday

We do not charge a cleaning fee, we ask that you leave the cottage in the same condition as received. If not we will have to apply a cleaning fee against the deposit.

We rented this cottage for a week for our family vacation. It was perfect and just felt like home. It was tastefully decorated and beds were comfortable. The grandchildren loved the loft. The air conditioning was great as it was a very hot week. It was a very short distance to a beautiful beach. There is really not anything negative that can be said about this cottage. All correspondence with the owners was great and it was nice to be greeted by them on our arrival. Thank you again for sharing your beautiful cottage with us to enjoy.

Our family spent a week enjoying the cottage, beach and sunsets in Port Franks. We would recommend the cottage to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation near the beach. Owner was very nice and was available for any questions we had. Clean, well organized in a great location. Looking forward to staying there again sometime.

Just returned from a wonderful week away in Port Franks. The cottage was very clean upon our arrival, and Anne was very hospitable in showing us around and answering any questions we had about our stay.

The beach is a short walk away, but a stroller or wagon are very handy if you have younger children. The beach was absolutely perfect for younger ones, beautiful sand and a huge sandbar. My daughter loved the shallow water.

The cottage kitchen was very well stocked- everything you need to cook for a small family, or a crowd! Pantry items that you may forget are also available at a small cost from the amenity baskets put together in the cottage (such a nice touch!).

It was very warm during our stay, so we were very grateful for the a/c as well as the fans in each of the bedrooms.

Port Franks is definitely a hidden gem along Lake Huron and we hope we can return next summer.

Just returned from an amazing week at this lovely cottage. The owners Anne and Dale were a pleasure to deal with and available at all times if we had questions. Cottage was immaculate and had all amenities we could ask for. Loved the fire pit and kids enjoyed the play structure. Easy walk to beautiful sandy beach. The kids are already asking when we can go back! Recommend 100%.

We just got back from a wonderful week at Anne's cottage. Such a lovely place!

The area:
The cottage situated in the small town of Port Frank's. It's really close to the torqoise waters of Lake Huron in the midst of quiet cottage community. There is private beach 7 min walk where we spent most of our days. Grand Bend is 20 min away if you prefer change of scenery. Pinery is less than 10.min drive away.

The cottage:
There 3 are bedrooms: 1 bedroom with queen bed and ensuite bathroom on the main floor, and 2 bedrooms with 5 bunk beds in each in the basement. There is also a smaller bathroom there as well.
There are 2 double mattresses in a loft space above the living room. We didn't use this space as there were only 5 of us for most of the week.
The space was very clean and organized. The kitchen was equipped with all necessary utensils and cookware. We brought some really good wine with us so real wine glasses were very much appreciated :)
There is a large deck in front where you can enjoy your breakfast and watch the stars and listen the waves of lake Huron in the evenings. The backyard had some swings for the little ones and brand new fire pit and BBQ. It was nice and shady during the day.

The hosts Anne and Dale are very hospitable. Communication was prompt and easy. Check in and check out process were very smooth.

I would recommend booking ASAP if you are looking for a relaxing holiday filled with beach days, hikes and summer fun!
