And you won't believe how close you are to the beach. It really is a fantastic place. With an el fresco covered dining area, you'll get to enjoy every moment of the summer weather. Sit back and relax. Eat, drink and chat to your heart's content. You'll never want to leave this super cool outdoor area. Once inside, you'll be blown away by the chic decor. The retro yellow fridge and stove really adds to the cool vibe. This open concept cottage has lots of pizzazz. The inviting queen canopy bed will be waiting for you at the end of the day. The kids get a funky space too as there are two sets of twin bunks in the second bedroom. Hope they don't keep you up all night with their giggling. Air conditioning, dishwasher, laundry...AND ONLY 100 METRES TO THE BEACH...we got you covered. Seriously, you don't want to pass this one by. You've really found a winner here. | The Summer Wind is the perfect cottage :-).
It's perfectly located between the two entrances to Baybeach (crystal beach), one of which has a great children's park that my daughter used to go to in the morning and evening.
The beach is perfect. Shallow water on a good length, very clear and warm. The sand is also great. About a two minute walk from the cottage, what more could you ask for!
The cottage is also within walking distance of small cafes, shopes and restaurants and everyone is very friendly. A perfect beach village atmosphere as I love it!
And the cottage itself is more than great! In addition to being perfectly located, it's super well thought out with its covered terrace. The space is very well arranged, the decoration is superb and it is very very well equipped!
We'll be back for sure:-)

| This cottage was perfect. It was very clean and quiet. The fenced in yard was perfect for our two children and the beach was really close, along with a playground. We will definitely be back!

| Summer Wind is a clean and beautiful little cottage, offering peace and comfort for an individual or a small group. Everything feels new (bathroom, floors, beds). Beds are super comfortable with great linens. Internet/WiFi service was great, no interruptions during my stay, and SmartTV with Netflix was very convenient.
The cottage is literally 1 block from the beach, so door to sand in less than 5 mins!!! Beach is sandy and shallow for a ways out, truly the Carribean of the North! Paddleboards are available on the beach for rent on busy days.
Several restaurants are within walking distance - I loved the fish & chips at The Crystal Chandelier, and the pizza at San Vito, both on Erie St (the main drag). There's a popular waffle & crepe hut there as well with a convenient takeout window. Ice cream places and coffee shops also dot the strip.
Amanda & Mike, the property managers, are super responsive via text, email or phone if you have any questions, and the booking process was straightforward and transparent.
All in all, a great stay and an even better experience!
