Cozy lakefront cottage nestled on wonderful Whalley Lake. The shoreline has a sandy beach area with gradual entry making it suitable for children. Waterfront includes: canoe/ paddles, pedal boat, life jackets, and chairs.
Public boat launch is nearby for plenty of boating and fishing. Also available a public boat launch at Lake Cecebe or the loch close by for entry into Ahmic Lake.

PRICE: weekly rate (or during low season, nightly rate x number of nights visiting), + $150 cleaning fee+ $500 refundable damage deposit = total price. 50% due at time of booking, remainder due 30 days prior to stay. If you are booking within the 30 days of desired stay, the full amount is due upon booking. Refunds are only offered (less 30%) if you cancel 60 days or more before your stay.
The cottage is located 5 minutes from the historical village of Magnetawan.
Magnetawan (or The Mag) offers a grocery store, restaurants, ice cream, pizza parlour, museum, LCBO, Home Hardware, bait and tackle store, park and Local Farmers Market on Saturday's 10-1pm. (Currently running at a limited capacity due to Covid-19) As well a beautiful public beach with play structures available for children.
Amenities include: Satellite TV, Wi-Fi, Harmon-Kardon Bluetooth speaker, DVD player, deck, BBQ, and patio table with chairs. Plenty of board games and playing cards.
Plenty of hiking, biking and ATV trails located nearby.
Cottage will sleep up to 6. There are 2 bedrooms and 1 pull-out couch for extra sleeping.
Bedroom one: double bed, bedroom 2: two single beds, Pull out couch in sunroom (private)
Two full bathrooms with shower, toilet and sink.
Comfortable living room with panoramic views of the lake and its two small islands. The sunroom is a great place to get out of the sun and read while taking in the beautiful views.
The cottage has an A/C unit on the main floor, and the downstairs is kept cool naturally (semi underground).
Saturday-Saturday weekly rental.
smoking is strictly prohibited inside the cottage. Designated outdoor ashtrays are provided for smokers outside. Please be considerate and deposit your cigarette butts.

All bedding comforters, pillows, and towels will be removed. So please bring your own. You will also be responsible for removing all of your garbage. There is a municipal dump only 5 minutes away.
Water is drawn from the lake for the showers, toilets and sinks, but isn't suitable for drinking, so please bring your own drinking water with you (You can fill jugs with spring water for free in Magnetawan at the Grill & Grocery hand pump)
*NB: * This is a family-oriented cottage and takes a maximum of 6 (with pull out couch) for guests of any age. * THIS COTTAGE IS NOT SUITABLE for people who want to party until all hours of the night. Our neighbours are respectful, and we require the same from our guests. Unfortunately, people other than guests named on the rental agreement cannot stay overnight (this is for liability and insurance purposes). According to the municipality (fire department) any and all open fires are STRICTLY PROHIBITED, failing to adhere to this will lead to hefty fines (up to $25,000) *

| We had a wonderful week on Whalley Lake. The cottage was perfect for our small family with a nice beach and shallow water, although a little weedy. There was also a great deck and sunroom overlooking the lake. Magnetawan was only a ten minute drive away for supplies and some time at a park.
