Beautiful newly built (2020) 2075 square foot bungalow cottage/ home on Bobs Lake. This is a 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom cottage that sleeps up to 10 people comfortably. The master bedroom has 1 king size bed, bedroom #2 and #3 each have 1 queen size bed and bedroom #4 has 1 full over full bunkbed. It is situated on a 2.05 acre lot that gradually slopes down to the lake. It has plenty of room to play games such as badminton, volleyball, soccer, bocce ball and other outdoor sports and lawn games. It has 250 feet of lake frontage including its own private boat launch and dock. We have 6 kayaks (2 small and 4 large), a pedal boat and some life jackets but we do recommend that you bring your own life jackets. The Lake is great for swimming with a sand bottom. Spend hours outside playing games in the yard or swimming in the lake or just sit back, relax and enjoy the view.
For those who enjoy fishing, Bobs Lake is known to have excellent fishing. Some fish species you will find are Lake Trout, Largemouth Bass, Perch, Crappie, Smallmouth Bass, Walleye and Pike. Bobs Lake is a large lake with many bays to explore with lots of Crown Land that give it a serene, peaceful atmosphere. For those coming with motorized boat or even a canoe, there is a little beach accessible by boat that you can pull up to and enjoy for an afternoon. There is also cliff jumping rocks on the lake (to use at your own risk/discretion). There is a games room located at the back of the garage. There, you will find a small foosball table, basketball game, pool/ping pong/air hockey table, dart boards and a PS3 console.
If you would like to go out and enjoy a round of golf, there is a 9 hole golf course in Westport (approximately 20 minutes away) or 18 hole golf course on Hwy#38 near Verona (approximately 30 minutes away). There is also a public beach nearby in Sharbot Lake for those who would like to spend a day at the beach. At the end of your day, wind down and enjoy a campfire in one of the 8 Muskoka chairs (you must bring your own fire wood and local fire bans must be followed).
The cottage has a fully equipped kitchen that includes fridge, electric stove/oven, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, coffee maker and Keurig, blender, Tupperware and all dishes, flatware and bakeware. There is also a barbecue on the front deck (we will supply 1 tank of propane). We will provide 1 dishcloth and 1 dishtowel to use during your stay. There will be no food, spices (salt, pepper or other), condiments, foil, zip lock bags or plastic wrap provided. All mattresses have a mattress cover but you are responsible for bringing linens, blankets, pillows, towels (bath and beach), hand towels, hand soap, toilet paper, all toiletries, dish soap, dishwasher tabs and garbage bags.
The cottage is approximately 50 minutes North of Kingston, 3 hours from Toronto and 1.5 hours from Ottawa. There are grocery stores located approximately 15 minutes away in Sharbot Lake or 20 minutes away in Westport and 35 minutes away in Perth or Verona.
Note: Cell service does not work well throughout the property (usually works best down by the dock or up by the road). The cottage does have internet.
In addition to the cottage rental fee, there is a $150 cleaning fee and a $500 security deposit which must be provided at least 1 week before your arrival and will be returned within a week of your departure when evidence of smoking, damage and cleanliness has been assessed. Renters will be responsible ensure that all garbage has been removed from the cottage, games room, bunkie and property and that it has been bagged (in large black garbage bags) and placed in the garbage bin behind the garage.

| Arrival: Our family vacationed here for two weeks. Cottage property exceeded our expectations in every aspect. Cottage was spotless and everything was in good working order. There was enough room in the main house for the ten of us to spread out. Great kitchen, with all amenities. Comfy beds. Every evening we played games (with the kids) or watched a DVD. Fantastic view of the water from the cottage windows. Our Stay: Boat launch on the property was a huge bonus. Every day we boated, tubed or fished, (great crappie, and bass). Dock was amazing. Great wildlife. (Deer, turtles, osprey, rabbits etc.) On the rainy days, kids played in the games room at the back of the garage. Shopping was a short drive away. Great swimming and kayaking and paddle boarding. Fire pit was used every night. In conclusion, we had a memorable family vacation in an idyllic setting and would highly recommend.

| Excellent location and cottage. Lots of space outside for kids to run and play. Sandy beach ( w lots of shade in afternoon) beside dock. Swimming was excellent. We fished like crazy and caught tons - all went back after a quick picture. Boat launch area has lots of room to turn vehicle and trailer around to line up. Big grassy area in between cottage and water got sun all day. Fire pit in center of that field was great for evening relaxation and watching the stars.
Cottage was well appointed - kitchen had everything you could need. Big fridge, dishwasher, multi door oven. Bedrooms were big and had large closets. The deck on the cottage was very popular - and got a lot of afternoon shade.
Bunkie was great - the older kids enjoyed their own space. Bathroom in it is small but very functional 2 piece. Games room was a hit with them as well. Great spot for a rainy afternoon.
Owner was easy to communicate with.
Recommend Westport to visit ( nice drive there, downtown type ice cream visit afternoon ). Godfrey/ Verona visit for just groceries ( Foodland) or for the other things that pop up ( fishing rods, boat part, etc) . Everything is a good 30 min away.
We look forward to visiting again next year.

| We had a wonderful time at this cottage. The cottage itself is new and very nicely built and laid out. Open concept living, dining and kitchen area, and 4 good sized bedrooms. The walkout to the deck and backyard leading right to the dock and lake was perfect. The kids had plenty of room to run around and play in the grassy areas at the front and back. There were several activities to keep the kids occupied - kayaks, games room (which they loved for a break from outside), a few board games, badminton set and then of course the lake which they could walk right into. The lake was very peaceful, not busy at all. The area in front of this cottage had a sandy bottom, not too many weeds and the water was not cold and pretty clear. We used the firepit most nights and loved the star gazing...it was beautiful! Grocery stores were about 30 mins away, as well as LCBO, if you need to stock up. The hosts were very responsive and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend this cottage for rental...Enjoy!
