Located on beautiful Paudash Lake. We have westerly exposure for the most amazing sunsets to be seen. Our cottage is just perfect for multi families and people travelling with little ones, with sleeping 10 people comfortably. Located just off Hwy 28 for easy road access in every season.
We supply all the necessities, linens, all the cookware and utensils you could require. The kitchen has brand new stainless steel appliances and eat in areas are all facing the lake for your dinning enjoyment, as well as the patio chairs and table on the outside deck. Brand new BBQ and smoker with propane provided!
The cottage is positioned approx 50 feet from the lake and has 165 feet of shoreline. There are no steps to the lake and walk in access to the water. The floating dock can easily handle two boats or for relaxing and enjoying the beautiful view. Kids love jumping off the end of the dock!
There is plenty of yard space for play, outdoor games and amazing hiking and bike trails. A fire pit is close to the lake to enjoy the serenity. Our road is connected to the four wheeler and Paudash Trailblazers OFSC snowmobile trails. Our cottage is great for snowmobilers and ice fishers. Ride your snowmobile from the back door right onto the lake. When you're done playing in the snow, come warm up with our wood stove sauna!
The Town of Bancroft is a 10 minute drive away where you can also visit the quaint shops, pubs, local restaurants and an amazing micro brewery. Bancroft has everything you need with 24 hr gas and grocery stores, Shoppers Drug Mart, Tim Hortons, McDonalds, Banking and Canadian Tire.
Paudash Lake is 14 km long, 5 kms wide and depths of up to 150 feet. It's known for excellent bass fishing, pickerel and lake trout. Home to an abundance of loons and blue herons. Paudash Lake hosts an excellent sand bar just minutes from our cottage, beach area and cliff jumping. Paudash Lake is home to two full service marinas with boat rentals. A boat launch is located directly across from our cottage, a 1 minute drive.
Silent Lake Provincial Park is 5 minutes away for excellent hiking and bike trails, cross country ski trails and a sandy beach. A short drive, under an hour to Sir Sams Ski/Ride. Algonquin Provincial Park is an hour away.
Weather is not ideal? We've got that covered for you too! We provide a large collection of board games, card games, a library of books, foosball table, karaoke machine, table hockey, basketball net, hockey net, trampoline, toys for kids, unlimited TV and movies with Firestick, PlayStation 4, WIFI and flat screen televisions. Relax and enjoy movie night on our 75 inch TV!
Enjoy the water in our canoe, SUP, kayaks, pedal boat, and zipline!!!
If that's not enough, a full size, two-man, stand up arcade with a 42inch screen with 2500 games and pinball machine! ! Your children with never be bored, likely neither will the older children.
