Great little spot on Negeek Lake. Quaint log cabin with all the right touches. Relaxing and close enough to all the amenities. Had a great week!

We rented this cabin for a week in September and really enjoyed our stay! The cottage is clean and the wooden interior is very cozy. The kitchen is well equipped, with plenty of utensils and kitchen tools. There are also some games available, like Uno and Jenga.

The surroundings were very pretty. There are a lot of pine trees, the water is clean, and the street the cabin is on is very quiet. We saw loons pretty frequently, and hearing them in the evening and early morning is really cool. The entrance to the lake is sandy and shallow, getting gradually deeper, which is perfect for docking kayaks or boats and swimming. The dock is well maintained and there is a rowboat provided along with lifejackets, which is great for going out on the lake. There is also a rental in Barry's Bay that delivers right to the cottage, that we got kayaks from. There is a fire pit by the water and chairs by it as well as a picnic table, which is great for enjoying meals outdoors.

The owners were very responsive and helpful. We had a great time here and would love to come again!

First time renting a cottage, would definitely come back. Myself, my husband and children stay for a week, there was plenty of room for our kids to play within and outside of the cottage. One of the reasons we chose this cottage was the used of the dock for our boat, boat launch was a 5 minute drive by car and 10-15 minutes by boat. The sandy shores line was perfect for my 2 and 7 year old they were both able to play and have fun in the water safely. We were also able to used our quads on the trails around the cottage. Overall the cottage was a great week ago to enjoy our self and enjoy nature.

We had a wonderful week at this quaint and obviously cherished family cottage. The cottage was clean and well maintained. The lake water is incredibly clean and has a nice sandy entry.

Kim was great to respond to questions and provided a wonderful list of tips and info for our stay.

We rented this cabin for the month of July and had the perfect getaway. Kim and Neil were lovely to meet and responded right away if we had any questions. They made the process of renting easy with their excellent communication.

We were overjoyed upon arrival! The cottage was more spacious than we originally thought and it had a welcoming feel. It reminded me a lot of my own family cottage growing up, which made it that much more special. We always had hot water and plumbing worked very well. The cottage was kept very clean and it was well equipped.

The property was the best part. Tall trees surrounding the cabin allowed for gorgeous scenery and kept the cabin cool. It's located on a quiet lane. We spent a lot of time on the dock and swimming in the lake - it was a shallow, sandy entrance which was great for my hip recovery and gets deeper as you walk out. The river is very wide, so it feels more like a lake! We saw a variety of wildlife and never had issues with bugs (including black flies!).

It's a very short drive into Combermere where we would occasionally pick up a pizza or go to the general store. There is a small farmer's market on Saturday's with the best buttertarts! We would drive into Barry's Bay (12 min) for groceries and shopping.

A beautiful atmosphere - For anyone who appreciates cottage lifestyle, you will not be disappointed. We are lucky to have found this treasure in Combermere and we hope to come back again next summer. Thank you!!
