This beautiful executive quality, cedar viceroy one floor home has much to offer whether you are inside or out. The rooms are recently redecorated and spacious. The main floor is open concept with cathedral ceilings, and floor to ceiling glass providing an excellent lake view. The 1,600 ft. home contains three bedrooms, plus a sofabed in the sunken glassed sun room. There are 2 fully renovated brand new bathrooms, hardwood floor in living room, carpet in bedrooms and hallway, vinyl flooring in kitchen/ dining room and sun room, and a full basement. The living room, dining room and master bedroom overlook the lake. The master bedroom has it own screened private deck.
In addition there is a large deck with patio furniture and picnic table overlooking the lake. There is also a smaller deck facing a wooded private area. The C shaped kitchen and has a breakfast nook as well as an attached dining room. There is a dock 6 feet by 35 feet that can easily accommodate a 20 foot boat. The 125 foot shoreline is flat bedrock at the edge. The water has a sandy bottom and is shallow for 40 feet, ideal for small children. The lake bottom drops off past the dock for clean, clear swimming. In addition to the dock there is a large deck at the water's edge to sit and enjoy the spectacular view. We are in a small bay, facing several islands which are fun to explore with the canoe.
We are 5 minutes from a convenience store where you can purchase staples, rent movies, boats and get bait. The closest towns (Sundridge or South River) are 15 minutes away on paved roads and have every thing you would need for your stay.

| My hubby and I had the pleasure of renting "Heather's Hideaway" the last week of August 2023. The cottage is beautiful, spacious, well equipped, modernized in many ways, and tastefully decorated. The view of Eagle Lake is wonderful from either the master bedroom screen porch, or from the large windows in the living room. From the minute you walk in the door, you feel comfortable and happy to be there. Heather and Steve are wonderful hosts. Highly recommend Heather's Hideaway!

| My family enjoyed a fantastic week at Heather's Hideway! Leading up to the rental, Heather was very timely in her communications and responses, making us feel very comfortable even before stepping foot in the cottage. The cottage was very clean and large, with 2-levels - although we spent our entire time on the main floor. Everything was in working order, the beds were comfortable, and amenities were great. The yard leading to the waterfront had a gradual slope and was maybe 50 paces total to both the lakefront deck, dock, and waterfront, which had a gentle slope entry into the water. The waterfront was a granite entry with sand bottom - still best to wear water shoes. A large aluminum canoe and 2 kayaks were were provided - with both my daughters enjoying daily kayak rides to some of the many islands on this large, beautiful, shallow(ish) and warm lake (ample life jackets for adults and kids provided). There was ample tree coverage providing lots of kindling, and firewood was provided allowing us to have a campfire every night. Miniskew Provincial Park is a 3 minute drive / 18 minute walk from the cottage. The Park has some nice hiking trails and outdoor activities as well. A small local store is about a 10 minute drive East of the cottage and a couple small towns are 20 minutes from the cottage - so everything you need is close by. We will definitely return to Heather's Hideaway for a future cottage rental - we had an amazing time! Thank you Heather and Steve!!

| Its a joy to come back to Heathers Hideaway every year!
The lake is wonderful and the sunsets are beautiful, swim or relax on the deck or dock, listen to the loons by the fire in the evening, count the stars at night.
The house is amazing and there is everything you need in the kitchen, there is a BBQ, everything is spotless and the beds are so comfy.
The bathroom is perfect with a shower and a soaker tub, the master bathroom is perfect as well.
Even if it rains you have a great room with a gorgeous view and even a little sheltered deck off the master bedroom. Well protected with screens from the mosquitos.
The welcome note and little goodie basket is a lovely touch. The owners Heather and Steve respond very quickly via email with any questions.
The Narrows is a country store with anything you need, wood, delicious pizza and fries and ice crème in so many flavours!!!
Its a privilege to have the opportunity to stay here on Eagle Lake and I cannot thank Heather and Steve enough.

| My husband and I spent a lovely week at Heather's Hideaway. The cottage is clean and spacious and all of the rooms are thoughtfully decorated and very comfortable. The kitchen is well appointed with all the dishes, pots and pans, utensils and appliances you may need. There are plenty of places to sit to enjoy the view of the lake..the dock, the decks at the water's edge and up at the cottage, and the beautiful living room with the wall of windows.
There is a canoe to explore the lake and a provincial park with many trails and activities nearby. The roads surrounding the cottage are quiet for bike riding. There is a unique, 12 hole golf course very close by as well.
Heather and Steve were easy to reach via email or text and responded quickly to any inquiries we may have had.

| You know those moments, the excited anticipation of staying at a new holiday rental?
Well, we, Mom (88) and her 5 daughters were so happy to finally be here.
Just stepping into the Sunroom and we all went "WOW! Nice!"
As we explored further..."It's Big. Bigger than we imagined! "Nice!"
"Look at that bathroom!"
The spaces were well decorated, and we appreciated the little details...pillows, artwork, & the thoughtfulness of a welcome package.
The finished lower level was a pleasant surprise. It is a great addition to the living space.
Next, we had to go down to the water. The lake was cool and crystal clear...the views...beautiful!
We make good use of the lakeside dock...drinks, snacks... a quiet reading place.
There were serene morning paddles. Us sisters laughed so much just getting in the water and attempting to sit on our "floaties".
And the fire pit area, if you use your imagination...is a magical, mystical set up with its natural rocky seating...very earthy and elemental.
It's all about reconnecting, having a good time and making memories.
And we did that here.
Heather's Hideaway was the perfect "up north, in the woods" place for our family.
AND yes, we met the ducks!
