With 4200 square feet of living space and 996 feet of sandy frontage on Shawanaga Lake, it's a perfect oasis for large extended families or multiple families. Shawanaga Lake is crystal clear and clean. With two large sandy beaches, your family can swim, soak up the sun, play, or build a sandcastle! Many guests will settle into one of the Muskoka chairs on the beach or dock while watching the children swim and play in the water. Shawanaga is a large lake; great for boating, skiing/ tubing, fishing and exploring with paddle boards, canoes or kayaks.
The cottage is classic Viceroy, with tall vaulted ceilings, huge windows everywhere, a cottage vibe, but with all of the conveniences of home including a dishwasher, laundry facilities and a fully stocked kitchen. There are 6 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms and a powder room. There's also a huge great room, sunroom, dining room, laundry room and a large kitchen with island.
The large deck wraps around the front and side of the cottage; a perfect place to dine, read, or just listen to the call of the loons.
The cottage is equipped with many games and fun things to do in any season. In the recreation room, you can play pool, Foosball, ping pong, a board game at the games table or watch a movie. We also provide free WIFI.
Downtown Parry Sound is just 30 minutes from the cottage. The beautiful downtown in famous for its small town shops, restaurants and beautiful waterfront on Georgian Bay. It's a nice place to spend some time sightseeing, hiking and stocking up on supplies and souvenirs.
In the summer, from June to the end of August, Sandcastle Cottage books from Monday to Monday.
Advantages of Monday to Monday bookings:
- less traffic on Mondays (you'll save a LOT of time on the way there and back)
- you'll use up only ONE of your precious summer weekends instead of two (like with Sat. to Sat. bookings)

| What a find! Our group of 11 adults booked this for our annual friend's weekend away and just loved the cottage. Absolutely perfect. This was hands down one of the best cottages we have ever rented. Lots of room for everyone to enjoy their various activities without impacting on each other. The kitchen is very well equipped and has everything you might need. Bedrooms are bright and airy and no complaints about mattresses or pillows....a miracle! The cottage is very clean and tidy and the views are amazing, We enjoyed drinking our morning coffee in the Sunroom looking out over the lake. Loved that the table expanded to accommodate everyone around it and that there were enough chairs, in other cottages we have sometimes had a mishmash of chairs around the table! It really felt like a home away from home and we look forward to booking this again in the future. Rick was very easy to deal with and responded promptly to any question we had.

| My family of 15 recently enjoyed our second annual cottage week at Sandcastle. It is perfect for us! The cottage is roomy with lots of spaces to hang out. We enjoyed morning coffee in the sunroom and kids, big and small, made good use of the games room. There are lots of non-motorized watercraft for enjoying the lake, and the little ones had fun on the beach. Thanks to Rick and family for sharing this wonderful property with us. We have many great memories of our time spent here.

| This was our second year renting sandcastle cottage. We rented last year as well.
Once again our stay was fabulous. We made many great memories and Rick was once again a wonderful host.
We have rented many cottages over the years but this one stands out as the best! We would recommend sandcastle cottage to anyone looking for a very clean, spacious, well equipped cottage. Thank you Rick once again for letting us enjoy your place.

| We rented this cottage for a week with our entire family. 12 of us. It could not have been better!!!
It was perfect! We had an amazing time, the cottage is large, clean and very well equipped!
Rick is very helpful, very easy to deal with, with quick responses when there is a question.
