With 4200 square feet of living space and 996 feet of sandy frontage on Shawanaga Lake, it's a perfect oasis for large extended families or multiple families. Shawanaga Lake is crystal clear and clean. With two large sandy beaches, your family can swim, soak up the sun, play, or build a sandcastle! Many guests will settle into one of the Muskoka chairs on the beach or dock while watching the children swim and play in the water. Shawanaga is a large lake; great for boating, skiing/ tubing, fishing and exploring with paddle boards, canoes or kayaks.
The cottage is classic Viceroy, with tall vaulted ceilings, huge windows everywhere, a cottage vibe, but with all of the conveniences of home including a dishwasher, laundry facilities and a fully stocked kitchen. There are 6 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms and a powder room. There's also a huge great room, sunroom, dining room, laundry room and a large kitchen with island.
The large deck wraps around the front and side of the cottage; a perfect place to dine, read, or just listen to the call of the loons.
The cottage is equipped with many games and fun things to do in any season. In the recreation room, you can play pool, Foosball, ping pong, a board game at the games table or watch a movie. We also provide free WIFI.
Downtown Parry Sound is just 30 minutes from the cottage. The beautiful downtown in famous for its small town shops, restaurants and beautiful waterfront on Georgian Bay. It's a nice place to spend some time sightseeing, hiking and stocking up on supplies and souvenirs.

Advantages of Monday to Monday bookings:
- less traffic on Mondays (you'll save a LOT of time on the way there and back)
- you'll use up only ONE of your precious summer weekends instead of two (like with Sat. to Sat. bookings)

| This was our second year renting sandcastle cottage. We rented last year as well.
Once again our stay was fabulous. We made many great memories and Rick was once again a wonderful host.
We have rented many cottages over the years but this one stands out as the best! We would recommend sandcastle cottage to anyone looking for a very clean, spacious, well equipped cottage. Thank you Rick once again for letting us enjoy your place.

| We rented this cottage for a week with our entire family. 12 of us. It could not have been better!!!
It was perfect! We had an amazing time, the cottage is large, clean and very well equipped!
Rick is very helpful, very easy to deal with, with quick responses when there is a question.

| When our family decided to rent a cottage, let's just say we had quite a few things on our checklist as must haves. Sandcastle cottage ticked all the boxes and then some!!! It was by far the best cottage/house we have ever stayed at. Sandcastle offered amazing views of the lake from the huge deck. The dock was great for tying off rafts and jet skis. The water was nice and clear. Our family enjoyed swimming out to the floating dock which was a nice bonus. There was lots of room to throw a ball or play cornhole and we were able to enjoy the large firepit too. The inside of Sandcastle was beyond perfect. From the pool/ping pong/foosball table, there was so much for our family to enjoy. Lots of space for family dinners and watching movies and sports in the evenings. Everything was so new and updated. The kitchen had everything we could need and more including a second fridge in the garage which was very handy. We kept asking ourselves, is there anything else this place could have to make it better? The answer was always nothing. This place has all you can ask for and then some. Our only wish is that this will not be the last time we get to stay here. Thanks to Rick for being an amazing host and ensuring our stay was as fantastic as it was. Sandcastle cottage helped our family make everlasting memories!!!
