Loons Landing, Stormy Lake

The cottage is located on the North West shore of Stormy Lake in Haliburton, Ontario. Built in the mid 50's it's undergone several changes over the years but remains true to the original structure. Whether you're looking for a family vacation or a romantic getaway this is the place. Just a short breathtaking drive to Haliburton Village, the Haliburton Forest & Wild Life Reserve, Algonquin Provincial Park, Haliburton School of the Arts, Haliburton Highlands Museum, the Irondale river and so much more. A unique cottage experience with kayaking, boating, fishing, swimming, hiking? or just relaxing in the sun will make your Haliburton holiday one to remember.

Stormy Lake's waters are pure and clear. You can see to a depth of about 4 meters (13 feet). The main part of Stormy Lake is about 1 km (1/2 mile) across and the deepest spot is 25 meters (83 feet) just north of the island. For those of you that would like to wet a line, bring your gear and catch perch, bass and trout or we have some rods and reels waiting for you.

There are 2 adult kayaks, 1 child kayak, 2 paddleboards, a floating swim mat, and a tin boat.
Paddleboard paddles don't float. Ask us how we know :)
