Our ever-popular Lakeside Point Cabin, with fantastic views down Lorimer lake, is the perfect place for that vacation getaway. Your large outside area has a deck with outside furniture, gas BBQ, and firepit all overlooking the lake. Your own private dock offers a tranquil hideaway to relax, have a drink or just chill out to watch the lake views and beautiful sunsets. This area also provides deep docking for your boat or excellent swimming in the clear, clean waters of the lake. In order to allow you to get on the water, non-motorized watercraft including paddle boats/ row boat/kayaks and canoe are all provided free of charge for your use.
Our traditional cabin has two comfortable bedrooms each bed with a clean pillow top mattress, for a cozy sleep. The cabin has a fully equipped kitchen, a living room and one bathroom with shower

Note: Getting to Lorimer Lake Resort:
1.Take Highway 400 North toward Parry Sound.
2.Exit at No. 231 (the third Parry Sound exit), marked Hwy 124 to Sundridge/Nobel.
3.Turn right onto Hwy 124 toward Sundridge and drive for about 20 minutes.
4.After 15 minutes, you'll pass through McKellar, where you'll see a General Store and LCBO.
5.Continue on Hwy 124 for another 5 minutes, then turn left onto Swords Rd.

| I was incredibly disappointed with the response from the staff during our stay. They have one canoe and one kayak on the property for use. We took both boats out and paddled to the large island. By the time we got there the kayak was half submerged and continuing to sink. I had to jump into the canoe and pull the kayak back. It was still sinking on the way back making it very difficult to paddle. I informed the staff and they not only didnt seem to care as they changed the topic immediately and never removed the boat after I informed them of the leaking. Leaving it for others to use. Clearly they knew the boat was no good. What if I had gone out alone There were very few cottages occupied at this time of the year. I could have been stranded alone. Not to mention any others stay at this location as it is camp/trailer grounds. They also charge for everything additional. A key card to get in $20. An additional car $25; even if it's for one night. I found the people unfriendly and this incident left me with a terrible experience. I would never go back again.
