EAGLEWINGS COTTAGE SLEEPS 16 $8450 +HST+cleaning

Summer warm water swimming can be as early as June 15th, off the dock. The water is approximately 7 ft deep off the end of the long dock, and 3.5 ft deep at the dock ladder. There is no sandy beach but we have a small splash pool that can be filled with water and placed on the dock for supervised play with small children. There is no grassed play area due to the presence of ticks in southern Ontario. There are 2 kayaks and 2 stand up paddle boards available, life-jackets. Enjoy watching the parade of yachts and boats from the Dining Room, as they come and go through the Lovesick Locks 1 km away, or bring your own boat from Canada or the USA by sailing up the Trent - Severn Waterway system from the Great Lakes, through the locks to Buckhorn Lake. Due to concern for our neighbours, and nearby nesting birds, Seadoos, (personal watercraft) are not permitted at Eaglewings. Bring your own boat, there is launching available at Springrock campground nearby, and you can store the trailer on the upper part of our property. We request boating activities such as tubing etc., happen to the west of the cottage, away from local neighbours. The fishing is excellent at our end of the lake, and off the dock.

The large modern open kitchen has room for many cooks. It is well stocked with many appliances and spices. The dining table has an add-on table to create seating places for 15. There is a large living room that can easily seat 15, however if more chairs are needed, just borrow chairs from the screened porch or deck. The living room is well designed for meetings, presentations, and fun family gatherings.
The screened porch has lots of space for lounging by the wood stove, and dining for 5 people at the large round table, plus an additional pull out King Bed.
This Cottage is an easy 1.5 to 2 hour drive from Toronto, and is close to the Foodland grocery store in Lakefield, for 24 hour shopping. Cottage Toys in Lakefield has wonderful accessories for waterfront fun. Peel Marine has rental boats available.
Enjoy the year round glorious sunsets and sunrises, birds, fish and wildlife at this Cottage! We have neighbours close by and quiet time on the lake must be respected from 10:30 pm to 8am. For this reason, outside amplified music playing is not permitted to keep a peaceful cottage time for the neighbours. We request that you extinguish the firepit with water, by midnight, before heading indoors for the night.
