The Manitou is perfect for families of 6-10! Located at the northwest corner of Algonquin Park, It is a solar-powered cottage and 100% off-grid! It is a great spot to disconnect from technology and reconnect with loved ones (though Wi-Fi is available). The Cottage features 3 bedrooms, one with a queen bed, one with a bunk bed and a 3rd bedroom with 3 sets of bunk beds. The Manitou has an open-concept living/ dining room with a wood stove, a small reading room, 2 washrooms and a fully-equipped kitchen.
The cottage sits on 300 feet of shoreline on beautiful Kawawaymog Lake, with a dock to enjoy the sun.The Manitou boasts a beautiful deck with outdoor dining, barbeque, a firepit and dock. The area in front of the cottage is flat and perfect for summer outdoor games. Next to the dock, the small beach has a gently sloping entrance - ideal for little ones.
The Manitou is a perfect base for relaxing in a quiet wilderness lakeside location. Your private accommodation at Algonquin's northwest corner is perfect for all things adventurous and outside. Canoeing, kayaking, and stand-up paddleboarding are first class on gorgeous Kawawaymog Lake?especially at sunrise. Hike or mountain bike the forgotten trails. Fish for bass or trout.
