The Manitou and Lost Dog Cabin is a perfect base for relaxing in a quiet wilderness lakeside location. Your private accommodation at Algonquin's northwest corner is perfect for all things adventurous and outside. Canoeing, kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding is first class on gorgeous Kawawaymog Lake - especially at sunrise. Hike or mountain bike the forgotten trails. Fish for bass or trout. Relax on the dock.

The Manitou and Lost Dog is perfect for families of 6-10! Located at the northwest corner of Algonquin Park the Manitou is a solar-powered cottage and 100% off-grid! It is a great spot to disconnect from technology and reconnect with loved ones!

The cabin features 3 bedrooms, one with a queen bed, one with a bunk bed and a 3rd bedroom located in the attached Lost Dog Bunkie with 3 sets of bunk beds. The Manitou has an open-concept living/dining room with a wood stove, a small reading room, 2 washrooms and a fully-equipped kitchen. A new addition in the fall of 2020 connected the Lost Dog and Manitou buildings and added an additional washroom!

The cottage sits on 300 feet of shoreline on beautiful Kawawaymog Lake, with a dock to enjoy the sun.
