| We had a wonderful week with our family at Whispering Waters. Lots of fun things to do with the family?kayaks, row /paddle boats and the pool table was a big hit. Very comfortable beds and lots of room for everyone. We especially loved the beautiful view and the daily spotting of deer across the river. Thank you again for the welcome treats! Would definitely rent this cottage again.

| Spacious cottage with many places to enjoy the surroundings?from sunroom to screened porch to water view deck to screened outdoor dining area. Our grandkids enjoyed playing games on the lawn at the front of the cottage. It was great to have access to two kayaks, a rowboat and a peddle boat. The children caught some fish, which was exciting for them. They also enjoyed the games room, although it was rather dark and quite chilly. The cottage was outfitted with everything needed to prepare meals and it was wonderful that bed linens and towels were provided. We brought our own beach towels. The water was low, so the waterfront was weedier and muckier than expected. A ladder into the water from the dock would have been helpful. It would also be helpful to have some cozy throws around for cool evenings. The cottage is very shady, which is great for hot days but rather dark and chilly on cool rainy ones. Our hosts were very responsive and we were greeted with a bottle of wine and some treats, a nice touch.

| Whispering hideout was a great place for our mulit-family getaway. Lots of space inside, with different rooms for various activities. We had some great success fishing in the Crowe River from the dock and supplied rowboat! We really loved the nearby swimming area at Crowe Bridge Park, and relaxing by an evening fire ended the day nicely. It is a very quiet area, even though other cottages/homes are nearby - very peaceful. Campbellford has some great places to visit, the bakery and chocolate factory were favourites. We found Allan very responsive to any questions, communication was excellent. Thanks Allan for a great week!
